Hi guys, this is Lucky Ali, and most welcome to my another Splinterlands social media challenge post. Today I have Earth and Life cards for upgrade, and they are rare and common. Before jumping into this post, please visit my previous Splinterlands social media challenge post, in which I have upgraded other cards, and those cards are Thunderhoof Nomad, Quilliun Legionary, Quora Towershead, and Thanalorian Blade. Because I want you to track my card upgrades, this is especially for Splinterlands users. Anyway, today I have some cards for upgrading my deck, aiming for improvement in deck strength, and I am also taking staked SPS on rent. The amount is 100k sps tokens, which is higher than before. Before, it was 50k sps tokens, but now it is 100k sps, which is helping me earn more in the game. At a 1000 rating, I am getting even 0.7 sps per win, which is not bad. Should I increase the amount of SPs or not? I want your suggestions.
When you rent 50k sps, it costs around 350 DEC tokens. Based on this, you can calculate the investment of 200k SPs tokens or even more. Considering this, it can be more beneficial for the users who a good players because if you are not good in battle, this investment is worth nothing. So before investing, even if it is small, make sure you are giving your best and you are actually a good player, otherwise renting a card or renting sps can be a deal of loss for you. Currently, I am investing in 100k sps, and I am planning to increase further because I play regularly. My mom plays my account because she likes this game much.
Quilliun Legionary | Rare Earth Unit | Upgraded for Level 4
This is an 8 mana card, and after upgrading this card, it now has 2 ranged attacks, 1 armor, 8 health, and 2 speed. Also, there are abilities like close range, thorns, and void. If you closely monitor and analyze these abilities, then they are actually useful in getting protection against their melee and magic attacks, as well as close range helps to attack from the first position. Mostly, you have seen that ranged attack should be placed in the last positions, but if the ranged attack monster has a close range ability, then it is not needed to take care of things like position. Put this monster at any position and enjoy the battle. This is the card that I used frequently in battle, and my favorite position is third for this card.
Nimbledook Explorer | Common Life Unit | Upgraded for Level 6
If you are expecting any attacks from this monster after the upgrade then stop it because this card is not made for the attack but for the defense. I have combined 100 cards to reach the 6th level. The card just has 4 mana, so good for the small mana battles. Looking at stats then it has 3 armor, 5 health, and 2 speed. Abilities like Protect and Armored Strike add more value to this card. This card adds extra protection to every single monster of the friendly team. Talking about placement, then it is up to you where you want to place it, but be aware of placing it risky position, otherwise all the extra protection disappears if this particular monster dies.
Luceheim Demon | Common Life Unit | Upgraded for Level 6
To reach the 6th level, I have combined 100 cards, and still, 10 cards are remaining, which I will use for the 7th level. This is a ranged attack monster with 7 mana. After this upgrade, this card has 3 ranged attacks, 3 armor, 7 health, and 1 speed, and here 1 speed is low, and you can say this is a drawback, but with drawbacks and strengths, balancing things in the splinterlands gaming economy. Every card is not perfect because every card has a counter, so always remember that. Lucesheim Demon should be placed at the last position to get maximum benefits because it can't work at the first position. This card is also useful in the noxious fumes rule because it has a cleanse ability, which protects against the poison to the monster that is placed in the first position.
Ajax Lightfoot | Rare Life Unit | Upgraded for Level 3
This is not a regular card like the above three because this is a gladiator monster. I have combined 14 cards from a total of 23. I would have upgraded to level 4 if I had 24 BCX, but anyway, next time. After combining 14 cards, I got level 3, in which this card has 3 ranged attacks, 5 health, and 6 speed. Also, there is a bloodlust ability, which is really lustful of blood. +1 extra stats when this card kills. This is a ranged attack monster, which means it should be placed at the last position. Other than the last positions, you should not get the maximum benefit of this monster. All the gladiator monsters are more powerful than the normal card. This is gonna very useful in guild brawls.
Conclusion
Here you can see I have upgraded Quilliun Legionary, Nimbledook Explorer, Luceheim Demon, and Ajax Lightfoot. After this upgrade, it has added great strength to my Splinterlands deck. I am planning to upgrade more cards next week. Such challenges help me to get inspiration and work on a stronger deck, thanks to the team.
