Lucky ali, this side and welcome back to my post. Both Solana and Ethereum have smart contracts, NFTs, DeFi, and numerous transaction activities. Now, here we have to see how Hive stands out among these blockchains. Here, we should not compare Hive with these blockchains because their purposes differ. Hive has a different purpose.

Let's discuss the first difference and which is related to design. When you see Solana and Ethereum, then the purpose is different, and that is general, in which developers can build whatever they want. Hive is focused on social media activities, microblogging, blockchain gaming, and blogging. It also supports community-driven apps. What Hive is targeting is becoming a backbone, mainstream place, and leader in web3 and decentralized social media. So this is the difference in design.

Ethereum has a very frustrating gas fee issue, which is tiring the users, and I personally experienced this because I have used Ethereum many times in the past. Talking about Solana then it has network congestion issues and despite having impressive speed. Hive is winning here because it has no transaction fees, and it has fast transactions, too. Let's say you are curating content, sharing the content, or doing any transactions; everything is free, and it even supports microtransactions, which is ideal for gaming projects. There are no gas fees, but the resource credit system is not bothering at all, and it is great. You just need to stake some Hive to use it.

Often, we hear news in Solana regarding criticism of the validator issue, and we keep seeing accusations about centralization in validators, so this is what is happening in Solana. On the other hand, Ethereum relies on network validators & developers. Now let's come to the hive, then here hive power holder directly participates in he governance, and not only this, they have the power to make their point in proposals. So Hive is a community-driven blockchain.

Both Solana and Ethereum have a strong ecosystem of developers, but Hive is running in a different way, and there are developers, but Hive mostly depends on gamers, writers, creators, artists, and users, and this is the blockchain for the common people. It is all about the people's real engagement, and you can go ahead without investment. The financial agenda is less involved here than the social. Hive targets the social agenda. So this is how Hive differs in this particular aspect, too.

Speed and reliability that Hive has a nice weapon, and it's providing a smoother experience. So the final answer is Hive is great in its own way, and it also does not want to be Ethereum or Solana because Hive's way is clear and different, so there is no comparison. So what do you want to say regarding this information? Let me know in the comments section. I will meet you in my next blog. Till then, take care and goodbye.
