Greetings to all the creators of this incredible platform that allows us to explore our worldview in different ways. Today I want to show you a photography exercise I did. Although I'm a social communicator, I haven't fully explored taking or capturing photos because I've always had a cameraman or photographer to complete my journalistic work. We always take photographs, but we truly apply the essential elements. We generally don't theorize in practice because we're always rushing to meet our goals. However, I dared to explore and have fun taking a series of photographs in Guaquieri Park in Cumaná, Sucre state.
Saludos para todos los creadores de esta increíble plataforma que permite explorar en diferentes sentidos la cosmovisión del ser. Hoy quiero mostrarles un ejercicio que realice de fotografía, y aunque soy comunicadora social, esto de hacer o captar fotos no lo he explorado al máximo, debido a que siempre he tenido Camarógrafo o fotógrafos para completar el trabajo periodístico. Siempre hacemos fotografías, pero realmente aplicamos los elementos esenciales, generalmente no teorizamos en la práctica porque andamos corriendo para cumplir las metas, sin embargo me atreví a explorar y a divertirme haciendo una serie de fotografías en el Parque Guaquieri de Cumaná, estado Sucre.
I confess that during the process, I felt a little anxious, because at the end of the day, you can't help but compare yourself to other projects that, when you look at them, look perfect. Plus, you think about the lack of equipment, a very interesting detail when you want to show off a clean work.
So, in the middle of a 6 a.m. walk while exercising in the park, I thought: "Why not romanticize my life? Just take the shots that look beautiful to me, just do what I want without so many thoughts, and be happy, live." In that moment, I felt like my whole being transformed, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this, because in the end, it's the attitude you bring to life that will define your future experiences, your achievements, failures, and ultimate goals.
Les confieso que en el proceso llegué a sentir un poco de ansiedad, porque al final de día no puedes dejar de hacer comparaciones con otros trabajos que al mirarlos se ven perfectos. Además, piensas en la carencia de los equipos, un detalle muy interesante cuando quieres mostrar un trabajo limpio.
Entonces, en medio de la caminata a la 6 de la mañana mientras me ejercito en el Parque, pensé: " porque no romantizar mi vida, solo hacer las tomas qué me parezcan bonitas, hacer simplemente lo que quiera sin tantos pensamientos y ser feliz, vivir". En ese momento sentí como todo mi ser se transformó, y no exagero al afirmarlo, porque al final es la actitud que le pones a la vida la que va a definir tus experiencias futuras, tus logros, fracasos y los objetivos finales.
Then I started to have fun, I felt like everyone was looking at me, and I accompanied by my Honor X6 phone with just a 5MP f/2.2 front camera began to take pictures, without stopping, I confess that it was an incredible exercise, while I was doing it I remembered fragments of photography classes at the university, of the Lumiere Brothers and the daguerreotype, of Joseph Niépce and helium engraving, the projector of the University of the East, Núcleo de Sucre, the Film Club, the films that were used, the darkrooms, all these fascinating experiences so that currently only with the power of light we can stop time through an imagen.
