## MES MUNDIAL DE LA AREPA: UN REENCUENTRO EN CADA RINCÓN DEL MUNDO
Hola hivers,
**¡Comienza el Mes Mundial de la Arepa!**
Me encanta este mes porque tenemos una fiesta mundial todos los venezolanos dentro y fuera de nuestras fronteras. Cada segundo sábado del mes de septiembre celebramos a la reina de nuestra gastronomía: **la arepa**.
Una celebración que nació hace más de 10 años en una quinta caraqueña, cuando Rafael Mourad, Tony De Viveiros **y yo** nos preguntábamos cómo reunir a los venezolanos regados por el mundo. La respuesta estaba frente a nosotros: la arepa, ese pancito esférico que abraza tradiciones, cruza fronteras … y siempre sabe a casa, a hogar, a familia.
Más adelante se sumaron Tania Rimer y Mireya Romero, y juntos le dimos forma a lo que hoy es una fiesta global:

🥳 Más de **600 emprendedores venezolanos** compartiendo nuestra gastronomía, nuestra cultura y nuestras raíces.
La celebración no es solo un día o una temporada; sino que se extendió a un mes entero; porque la arepa no se limita a un día, se multiplica como su esencia de múltiples rellenos y sabores en cada hogar de Venezuela.
## WORLD AREPA MONTH: A REUNION IN EVERY CORNER OF THE WORLD

**World Arepa Month is here!**
I love this month because we have a global celebration for all Venezuelans, both inside and outside our borders. Every second Saturday in September, we celebrate the queen of our cuisine: **the arepa**.
This celebration began more than 10 years ago at a country house in Caracas, when Rafael Mourad, Tony De Viveiros, **and I** were wondering how to bring together Venezuelans scattered around the world. The answer was right in front of us: the arepa, that spherical bread that embraces traditions, crosses borders... and always tastes like home, family, and belonging.
Later, Tania Rimer and Mireya Romero joined us, and together we shaped what is now a global celebration:

🥳 More than **600 Venezuelan entrepreneurs** sharing our cuisine, our culture, and our roots.
The celebration is not just one day or one season; it has been extended to an entire month because the arepa is not limited to one day. It multiplies like its essence of multiple fillings and flavors in every home in Venezuela.
