## MI RESEÑA DEL LIBRO NEVERMOOR: LAS PRUEBAS DE MORRIGAN CROW

En varios posts les he compartido mi pasión por las historias que nos transportan a universos mágicos y aventuras épicas. Siempre he sentido que los libros que logran encender la imaginación y provocar asombro tienen un rincón especial en mi corazón. Les he compartido que mi favorito es Harry Potter, esa saga que J.K. Rowling tejió con hechizos y que marcó mi forma de leer y soñar. Pero sigo con los ojos bien abiertos, esperando encontrar nuevos autores que me regalen esa chispa y me lleven de la mano a nuevos universos.
Y eso precisamente me ocurrió en una visita a casa de mi sobrina, un libro llamó mi atención desde su estantería. Lo agarré por pura curiosidad, como quien dice “a ver qué tal”… le eché un ojo a la contraportada, luego a las primeras páginas… y caí en la trampa literaria de Jessica Townsend. Desde entonces, vivo en Nevermoor. En este post, les voy a reseñar este mágico libro de las aventuras de Morrigan Crow.
Nevermoor: Las Pruebas de Morrigan Crow es el primer libro de una saga tan misteriosa que ni el oráculo sabe cuántos tomos tendrá. Morrigan, nuestra protagonista, vive en un mundo donde ser diferente es casi tan grave como robar un banco. Y por si fuera poco, le han colgado una maldición y está destinada a morir al cumplir los once años. In several posts, I have shared with you my passion for stories that transport us to magical universes and epic adventures. I have always felt that books that spark the imagination and inspire wonder have a special place in my heart. I've told you that my favorite is Harry Potter, the saga that J.K. Rowling wove with spells and that shaped the way I read and dream. But I keep my eyes wide open, hoping to find new authors who will give me that spark and take me by the hand to new universes.
And that's exactly what happened to me when I visited my niece's house. A book caught my eye on her bookshelf. I picked it up out of pure curiosity, thinking, “Let's see what this is all about”... I glanced at the back cover, then at the first few pages... and fell into Jessica Townsend's literary trap. Since then, I've been living in Nevermoor. In this post, I'm going to review this magical book about the adventures of Morrigan Crow.
Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow is the first book in a series so mysterious that not even the oracle knows how many volumes it will have. Morrigan, our protagonist, lives in a world where being different is almost as serious as robbing a bank. And if that weren't enough, she has been cursed and is destined to die when she turns eleven. But her fate changes dramatically when the eccentric Jupiter North rescues her and takes her to the mysterious world of Nevermoor in the Free State, a vibrant place full of surprises. There, Morrigan must face a series of tests to be accepted into the exclusive Fabulans Society—a secret institution that brings together the most brilliant and extraordinary individuals—all while discovering who she really is and what place she occupies in this universe where magic and danger go hand in hand.
