Saludos amigos, hoy les quiero compartir mi primer trabajo como diseñador de carteles sociales, como les había comentado en mi primer post, es mi pasión, y es mi vía preferida para expresar mis ideas. Por ello con mucho cariño les presento la siguiente historia, junto a mi obra. > Greetings friends, today I want to share with you my first work as a designer of social posters, as I had told you in my first post, it is my passion, and it is my preferred way of expressing my ideas. That is why with great affection I present the following story, along with my work. --- Todo empezó en el 2014, en el cual hubo una exposición de Carteles sociales cerca de mi hogar, en una escuela de fotografía cuyo tema era Home for everyone, en esa exposición participaron diseñadores de todas partes del mundo, organizada por una ONG que defiende los derechos humanos en Francia (Poster 4 Tomorrow) , ese día quedé impresionado por la manera en los diseñadores comunicaron gráficamente sus obras, eran muy fáciles de entender y además fueron capaces de transmitir las ideas de manera creativa (algunos eran muy serios, otros eran muy divertidos pero todos muy impactantes) sentí y me enteré de lo preocupante de la situación precaria de muchas personas en el mundo que no tienen derecho a un hogar y cómo una pieza gráfica como el cartel puede llegar a ser tan importante para comunicar algo de manera eficaz. > It all started in 2014, in which there was an exhibition of Social Posters near my home, in a photography school whose theme was Home for everyone, designers from all over the world participated in that exhibition, organized by an NGO that defends human rights in France (Poster 4 Tomorrow), that day I was impressed by the way the designers communicated their works graphically, they were very easy to understand and also able to convey the ideas in a creative way (some were very serious, others were very funny but all very shocking) I felt and learned about the concern of the precarious situation of many people in the world who do not have the right to a home and how a graphic piece like the poster can become so important to communicate something effectively . ---  https://www.posterfortomorrow.org/en/gallery/34234 --- Todas las sensaciones que me causaron cada uno de los carteles en ese instante me tenían muy impresionado, pasé más o menos 2 horas observando con detalle la exposición, hasta que una señora se acercó y me preguntó si yo era diseñador gráfico, que se notaba por la manera en que detallaba los carteles, yo le dije que sí, y resultó ser ella quien había organizado la exposición en mi país. > All the sensations that each of the posters caused in me at that moment had me very impressed, I spent more or less 2 hours observing the exhibition in detail, until a lady approached me and asked me if I was a graphic designer, which was noticeable by the way I detailed the posters, I told her yes, and it turned out that she was the one who had organized the exhibition in my country. ---  https://christopherscottdesigner.com/2013/10/12/poster-for-tomorrow-2013-a-home-for-everyone-10-best-posters-2/ --- Algo que nunca olvidaré fueron sus palabras en esa tarde de asombro mientras conversábamos, me dijo "tu puedes participar, puede que algún día veas uno de tus carteles en una exposición internacional, con constante empeño todo se puede lograr" yo me llené de muchos ánimos por sus palabras pero a la vez pensaba y me preguntaba... de tantas personas en el mundo, de tantos diseñadores asombrosos ¿podría ser yo uno de ellos? ¿Podría lograr algo como eso? No podía dejar de pensarlo. > Something that I will never forget were her words that afternoon of amazement while we talked, she told me "you can participate, maybe one day you will see one of your posters in an international exhibition, with constant effort everything can be achieved" I was filled with a lot of encouragement for her words but at the same time I thought and wondered... among so many people in the world, and so many amazing designers, could I be one of them? Could I achieve something like that? I couldn't stop thinking about it. --- Averigüé sobre el tema de los carteles sociales y me puse al día con eso, hasta que por fin ese mismo año decidí participar en un concurso internacional que convocaba en ese entonces una ONG de México (Escucha mi voz), el tema era "Defiende tus Derechos Humanos". > I found out about the issue of social posters and I kept up to date with it, until finally that same year I decided to participate in an international contest that an NGO from Mexico (Listen to my voice) called at that time, the theme was "Defend your human rights". ---  --- Estuve unos días pensando qué podía comunicar con mi cartel, ya que el tema es muy extenso... Entonces pensé en algo que de verdad me hacía sentir, algo que veía en todas partes y que ocurre en cualquier parte del mundo... La discriminación. Quería transmitir el mensaje "NO A LA DISCRIMINACIÓN" y eso fue lo que hice de una manera poco común. > I spent a few days thinking about what I could communicate with my poster, since the subject is very extensive... Then I thought of something that really made me feel, something that I saw everywhere and that happens anywhere in the world... discrimination. I wanted to convey the message "NO DISCRIMINATION" and that is what I did in an unusual way. ---  --- Basé mi idea en la declaración universal de los derechos humanos y en cada uno de sus artículos que pueden encontrar en // I based my idea on the universal declaration of human rights and on each of its articles that you can find in www.un.org ---  --- ¡Eso me hizo ganador! (Seleccionado entre los mejores 40 carteles de todos los países participantes) // That made me a winner!
