Hoy quiero ser su Charles Xavier y traerles un bonito recuerdo, por eso quiero hablarles sobre el conocidísimo juego de estrategia, perfecto para aprender sobre historia y mitología, con dinámicas geniales y graficos muy buenos para la época, nada más y nada menos que AGE OF MYTHOLOGY (Sonidos de truenos y tambores de guerra).

Por alguna extraña razón mi cerebro activo a tope el filtro de nostalgia y por ello me puse a buscar videojuegos o películas de la década del 2000, y ¿Cómo no iba a buscar este juegazo de primero? Personalmente este juego me gusta más que el Age of Empire, ya que me llama mucho la atención el asunto de la mitología y por si eso no fuese suficiente, la expansión de “The Titans” hace que me llame mucho más la atención, también me gustan mucho las mecánicas que tiene este juego y el Empires no, como por ejemplo los favores divinos, y las habilidad otorgadas por los Dioses.

Lo primordial aquí, es ganar y dependiendo del modo de juego que escoges hay distintas formas de hacerlo, ya sea por maravillas, más centros urbanos controlados o masacrando a tus oponentes.
EL juego cuenta con 4 civilizaciones, esto debido a la expansión de “The Titans” que nos añade a la civilización atlante, además de ellos contamos con los Griego, Nórdicos y Egipcios, cada civilización se diferencia en muchos aspectos de las otras, por ejemplo los Nórdicos me gustan porque cada unidad de infantería es un constructor, además tienen una unidad especializada en la recolección de oro ¿Adivinan cual es? Si dijeron Enanos, están en lo correcto.

Los Griegos, por su parte, tienen una gran variedad de unidades “Heroicas” las cuales tienen mayor ventaja ante las unidades de tipo mitológicas, estas unidades son los héroes de los mitos históricos que todos conocemos, Perseo, Teseo, Hércules, Belerofonte, etc. Pero si de unidades heroicas hablamos los atlantes son quienes tienen la ventaja, ya que ellos no tienen unidades heroicas per se cómo el resto de civilizaciones, sino que ellos por un precio, pueden transformar cualquier unidad humana en un héroe, una ventaja muy grande si tienes abundantes recursos.

Ya anteriormente mencione que la primera vez que lo jugué fue con un amigo y ya mencioné que tiene sus campañas, pero además de esto esta opción de “Un jugador” donde podrás preparar enfrentamientos con NPC´s para poner a prueba tus habilidades, pero no te confíes, estos NPC´s no son un chiste y llegan a ser realmente molestos, yo debido al tiempo sin jugar decidí hacerlo en el modo moderado y con algunas civilizaciones me cuesta ganar a veces, además la expansión “The Titans” añade la dificultad “Titán” el cual es simplemente una locura. Puedes elegir jugar un 1vs1, 2vs2, por equipos, todos contra todos o todos contra ti, además de tener la posibilidad para escoger entre 1 a 11 otros jugadores.

I personally love this kind of strategy games, maybe later I will talk about Age Of Empire, or the expansion "Tale of the Dragon" of this same game, or maybe Rise of Nations, but definitely this game will keep you glued to the seat, it will make you angry when you are besieged, get excited to corner your opponents and feel all-powerful to release the fury of the titans, no doubt a game full of emotions if you enjoy strategy games, of course.

A mí personalmente me encantan este tipo de juegos de estrategia, quizás después hable del Age Of Empire, o de la expansión “Tale of the Dragon” de este mismo juego, o quizás de Rise of Nations, pero en definitiva este juego te mantendrá pegado al asiento, te hará enfadarte cuando te veas sitiado, emocionarte al acorralar a tus oponentes y sentirte todopoderoso al liberar la furia de los titanes, sin dudas un juego lleno emociones si disfrutas de los juegos de estrategia, claro está.

A mí personalmente me encantan este tipo de juegos de estrategia, quizás después hable del Age Of Empire, o de la expansión “Tale of the Dragon” de este mismo juego, o quizás de Rise of Nations, pero en definitiva este juego te mantendrá pegado al asiento, te hará enfadarte cuando te veas sitiado, emocionarte al acorralar a tus oponentes y sentirte todopoderoso al liberar la furia de los titanes, sin dudas un juego lleno emociones si disfrutas de los juegos de estrategia, claro está.
