Los once que salieron tienen muchos puntos a favor porque fue el mejor momento de Venezuela en el cual consiguieron los dos tantos, en dominó de balón los árabes conducían más la esférica y los criollos mostraron mucha falta de técnica para también manejar el partido, pero comenzaron a ser más verticales, más de velocidad en salida de balón y esa fue la clave para conseguir el primer tanto en los pies de Josef Martínez, Arabia Saudita arrinconaba a Venezuela con toques de lado a lado de mitad de cancha para arriba pero una vez perdieron el balón Alexander González armó el contragolpe dando un pase a Josef que la dejaba correr para luego poder habilitar a Salomón Rondón que decidió tener la pelota esperar el desmarque que hizo el jugador del Inter de Miami para soltar el centro y así convierte el 1-0 sorpresivo para como estaba jugando Arabia Saudita.

Si el Bocha decidió salí con ese once titular es por algo, se le ve que le dará mucha confianza a Samuel Sosa a pesar que busca muy constantemente la falta para mostrar sus dotes con el balón detenido, pero puedo mostrar otras cualidades que sabemos que él las tiene, es de los pocos jugadores que tiene esta convocatoria con buena técnica en su pierna izquierda. Ví en la línea defensiva una mejora, se tiene que hacer notar el trabajo defensivo siendo una de las falencias de años atrás de Venezuela, Osorio un central con buena salida de balón en los pies y Chancellor siendo un depredador en el juego aéreo.
