Fixing THE Problem

A lot of the broken things people lement in our society are not actually problems as much as they are symptoms of THE problem.

What is THE problem, you ask?

We broke money in 1971. Not only did the United States break the USD, but as the world reserve currency (meaning goods and services and other currencies are denominated in US dollars), we broke the world. Other than being more globally connected today than any time in history, this isn’t a new occurrence. In fact, it’s the sixth time since 1450.

We don’t seem to learn from history on this one.

53 years, and we still aren’t learning.

Bitcoin fixes this. Corinne Stokes recently read The Bitcoin Standard after I suggested the kids add it to their school reading list. She appreciated how broken money hurts families as inflated money causes people to be more interested in consuming than investing in their family’s future. That’s an area of society she cares about which caused her to more greatly appreciate the importance of bitcoin (and the industry I’ve been involved in for over 11.5 years).

What’s an area of society you’re passionate about? What’s something broken you’d like to see fixed?

Chances are it’s just a symptom of THE problem.

You can start being part of the solution today by owning sound money. Start slow and get a few bucks in BTC. Learn how to use it with an exchange like Coinbase and a wallet like Edge. Then get yourself a hardware wallet like a Ledger Nano X and store some BTC away for the future.

Be part of THE solution.
