Hell is not what you think but only what you believe.

I woke up around 6am this morning with these thoughts streaming to my mind. I wanted to roll right back to sleep, but they felt important as if they needed to be recorded as a guide: —

Hell is an experience of separation we create for ourselves when we make decisions that are out of alignment with Truth. When we think and act in ways detrimental to our own development of consciousness, when we choose fear over love which is separation over unity, when we betray our best self, that consequence is hell. We will stay there, outside of space and time, for as long as we think we need to. Ultimately, since the Truth of absolute unbounded oneness is undivided, the hell experience we create is an illusion and ends when we are ready to integrate once again, learn from our experience, and develop the quality of our consciousness towards clear understanding. We create hell, we enter it, and we leave it, and much like other illusions we experience, it seems real. We make it as real as we think it should be given the severity of separation caused by our choices. Our worldview beliefs will greatly influence the type of hell we create. If we imagine it requires punishment, then that may be what we experience. It may also be solitude or conversely constant engagement with every other individuated unit of consciousness we harmed. It both exists after the body our eternal spirit occupies dies and here and now in this human experience. As a mental construct outside of time and space, we feel its effects around us moment by moment when we choose separation from our highest self. Religions and proto-religions each have a version of suffering in hell and all describe right action as the means to avoid it, but as we are not perfect, we will all experience some version of it, and we will all choose when we are ready to leave it. For some there is pain, for others suffering, and for others a brief moment of reflection, regret, learning, repentance, forgiveness, and understanding.

Whatever hell you’ve created for yourself in this moment and after you die, it is not as real and eternal and permanent as it may seem. Let it refine you as a fiery crucible, burning away impurities, for that is its purpose and the duration of your illusory experience of time spent there will be determined by your level of avoidance to this fact. When you are ready to choose love again, the construct of separation will fall away revealing unity once more.

That which creates separation is untruth and the more you let it dominate your experience, the more you will live in hell.
