Hola Hivers Les cuento: durante muchos años, estuve asistiendo a las competiciones del rodeo que se realizaban en el Parque Lenin de La Habana y en el recinto ferial de Rancho Boyeros. Llegue allí, al parque Lenin, inmersa en un proyecto de foto naturaleza, sin saber que me encontraría con ese espectáculo donde hombres y mujeres del campo y hasta niños, llegaban allí a competir en lo que eran buenos: el trabajo con los animales. Aquello me cautivo, a tal punto que a partir de esa fecha estuve asistiendo sábados o domingos, claro, tomando instantáneas de todo lo que veía.
Esos hombres y mujeres, amantes de los rodeo, practican, se esfuerzan y compiten en diferentes modalidades, pero claro está, como en cualquier deporte y el rodeo lo es, a veces las cosas no salen como ellos quieren y ahí entonces vemos lastimosas caídas, animales embistiendo a hombres, caballos tumbando a chicas, en fin desastres que no les agradan, pero yo, como fotógrafa, veo en todo eso magníficos momentos, dignos de mostrarlos en mis imágenes porque, son personas sin miedo, que enfrentan los riesgos con entereza y valentía, jamás se amilanan, en medio de cualquier situación adversa que les pueda suceder durante el desarrollo de las competiciones. Son magníficos seres humanos. Entonces aquí les dejo algunas fotografías de mi serie "Magníficos en el desastre" Espero que las disfruten ahora en imágenes, ya que yo haciéndolas pasé bastante sustos y temores por la integridad física de esos vaqueros y amazonas.

Magnificent in disaster/ Hello hivers I tell you: for many years, I was attending the rodeo competitions that were held in the Lenin Park in Havana and in the Fairground of Rancho Boyeros. They are magnificent human beings.
