The Sensory Room

I went to the Miri library and noticed this nice sensory room. It is a place for developing minds to shape their sensory skills.

This place is free of charge. The only thing that you have to do is to book the time slot. It is a great place to bring the small ones to visit. Walking into this room feels like going into another world.

I feel like a kid again.

Imagine being a kid exploring the world of the unknown, where everything seems huge all around.

When you walk into this room, it is quiet, so everything you touch around the room feels quite comfortable.

There is a television set in the middle, a lot of related things placed on the walls of the room, such as gears, light switches, and many more. Every corner has something that pulls at a different sense — textured walls to run your hands across, squishy toys that hug you back, calming scents drifting through the air.

The room is quite colourful and there is a rock climbing area to train some climbing skills.

On the wall are several types of visual stuff for the kids to play with.

Many of these are essential for the development of motor skills. From my view, these skills are far more important to develop first to increase brain growth and development.

One of the best things is that the colours of this room attract the little ones to explore around.

Huge bricks of different colours.

The different types of toys in their different containers here. These toys are useful for training the brain muscle connection.

Thank you very much for reading this post.

Have a wonderful day ahead.
