My Diary Starts Here: Moments and Stories

 Hello everyone! Hello Hive! Before I introduce myself fully, I want to share a little background about who I am. I was born in the Philippines, but I carry two cultures in my life. I am half Chinese and half Filipino. I have a chinese name but I prefer the name that I used in the Philippines. Btw, I am Catherey!  The story of my background starts with my mom and dad. My mother is half Chinese and grew up in the Philippines. Later on, she met my father, who is Filipino, and they eventually got married. After that, they had me.   Many people say I look exactly like my mom. Honestly, when I see old pictures of her, I can agree, I think I really do look like her! **My Education** I studied and graduated senior high school at Hua Siong College of Iloilo Ledesco Campus.  My time there gave me a lot of good memories, classmates, and experiences. It was also during those years that I started to grow more curious about the world around me. School was not only about academics but also about friendships, events, and lessons that shaped my character. **Living in China** After I graduated senior high school, my parents decided that I should continue my studies in China. At first, i was a little hesitant to move to another country. But I reminded myself that it was a big opportunity for growth. Right now, I am staying in China and continuing my education here. Whenever I get free time or when we have school vacations, I make sure to travel with my family. My parents love to travel too, so it became one of the hobbies we enjoy together.    The good thing about staying here is that I met great people who became my close circle of friends. They made my stay easier and happier. **My Love for Traveling** One thing you should know about me is that I really love traveling. Every time I go to a new place, I feel like I learn something new not only about the world but also about myself. Traveling teaches patience, curiosity, and appreciation for different cultures.  Because of this passion, I think most of my posts here will be about my travel diary. I want to share my experiences, the places I visit, and the little stories behind each trip. Of course, traveling is not only about the destination.    It is also about food! I am a certified food lover, so you can expect me to share food adventures as well. I like trying local dishes whenever I travel. Sometimes, I also take random photos of myself while eating, just for fun.  Aside from traveling and food, another thing I love is capturing scenes. Taking photos is one of the ways I keep memories alive. For me, pictures are not just images, they are feelings and moments I could look back in time. Whenever I look back at my photos, I can remember the exact feeling of that moment. Whether it is a simple sunset, a busy street, or a smiling face, I like to keep those little details saved. **Why I Joined Hive** You guys might be wondering why I am here. Honestly, at first, I was not so sure about joining Hive. But one of my friends, who is already active here, encouraged me to give it a try, thanks Cy. She told me about this but at first I didn't believe her because I thought she was just bluffing and scamming me, but she forced me and made me wanna try so yeah, here I am lol. Then when I thought about it and realized that Hive could be more than just a platform, it could become my online diary. A place where I can write about my life, travels, food trips, and random thoughts. Whenever I feel bored or just want to share something, this is where I can go. I am still new to everything here but I will try t learn this platform. So, here I am starting this journey. **A Special Thanks** Before ending this introduction, I want to say thank you to Miss @ayane-chan for helping me get started here. I will do my best not to let you down and to share my stories honestly. I hope through Hive I can connect with more people, share experiences, and learn from others too.
