Feliz domingo queridos cinéfilos, como todo día de descanso tenemos tiempo de ver una buena película, en mi caso vi dos románticas, pero una en particular fue la que me gustó, y es la que vengo hablarles hoy, la cual se titula **“Materialistas”**, está dirigida por **Celine Song** y protagonizada por **Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal y Chris Evans**, esta cinta se estrenó hace unos meses y estaba pendiente de verla, ya que quería ver la química entre Dakota Johnson y Pedro Pascal, que a pesar de que argumentan que solo son amigos, en esta producción se llevaron tan bien que en las entrevistas que vi parecían más bien una pareja de verdad. > ***Happy Sunday, dear movie lovers! La película inicia con una referencia que me llamo mucho la atención de una pareja en la época de la prehistoria cuando el hombre llega después de cazar ante su mujer y le entrega lo que consiguió, pero además le trae flores y con una de ellas le teje un anillo, dejando claro que el hombre es el proveedor por naturaleza, y la mujer le corresponde aceptando lo que recibe con una sonrisa y un beso. Luego aparece **Lucy Mason** *(Dakota Johnson)* en la época actual haciendo su trabajo, el cual se basa en conseguir candidatos solteros para tener pareja ideal, siendo ella una especie de cupido en la búsqueda de ese príncipe azul o princesa soñada.
Al ver las entrevistas que Lucy realiza, me sorprende mucho al ver como mujeres y hombres visualizan sus parejas con tantas exigencias que te asombras, ella toma nota de las expectativas y gustos de sus clientes para lograr esa cita perfecta, solo que entre las respuestas que dan estos solteros más bien pareciera que buscaran un socio comercial en vez del amor de su vida, los hombres se esfuerzan en especificar que quieren tener una cita con mujeres jóvenes que no lleguen a los 30, que tengan buen físico y que sean económicamente independiente, mientras las mujeres buscan hombres que sean exitosos y con una buena situación económica, además de bien parecidos.

Lucy logra emparejar varios de sus clientes, logrando incluso que una de las parejas se case, ella asiste a la boda, pero en último momento la novia se arrepiente porque sabe que no está enamorada, pero conversando con Lucy ella le pregunta que ¿por qué acepto casarse con él?, a lo que ella responde que principalmente para no quedarse soltera, ya que por su edad es difícil conseguir otra oportunidad de casarse, tampoco soporta que su hermana esté casada, y financieramente estaría asegurada con este matrimonio, cerrando Lucy la conversación con esta frase “el matrimonio es una transacción comercial que debe hacerte sentir segura”, y si con él te sientes así no debes dejar pasar esta oportunidad.
Lucy manages to match several of her clients, even getting one of the couples to marry. She attends the wedding, but at the last minute the bride has second thoughts because she realizes she is not in love. Talking to Lucy, she asks her why she agreed to marry him. to which she replies that it is mainly so she doesn't remain single, since at her age it is difficult to find another opportunity to marry. She also can't stand that her sister is married, and financially she would be secure with this marriage. Lucy ends the conversation with this sentence: *“Marriage is a business transaction that should make you feel secure,” and if you feel that way with him, you shouldn't let this opportunity pass you by.***
