Como amante que soy de las películas de terror y eventos paranormales, no podía dejar de ver la nueva entrega de **El Conjuro**, la cual se titula **“El último Rito”**, dirigida por **Michael Chaves**, la cual se estrenó hace un par de meses atrás, acá podemos ver de nuevo a los esposos **Ed** ***(Patrick Wilson)*** y **Lorraine Warren** ***(Vera Farmiga)*** juntos enfrentando el mal para salvar a una familia, en este caso el film está basado en el historia de la familia Smurl, residentes de Pensilvania, U.S.A. ¿De Qué se trata esta película?

Esta historia a mi modo de ver se centra más que todo en el temor de los Warren a perder a su hija Judy ( Mia Tomlinson) de nuevo, ya que la niña nace muerta después que Lorraine toca un espejo maldito, el cual no pudieron liberarlo de ese demonio en ese momento, per contra todo pronóstico la niña logra volver a la vida haciendo que sus padres la sobreprotejan durante su infancia, al pasar los años este espejo regresa a su vida y en esta oportunidad no podrán huir de él, deberán enfrentar el demonio que atormenta a la familia Smurl, quienes se encuentran desesperados sin saber qué hacer para poder liberarse de esta fuerza de mal, podemos ver escenas de cómo son atacados por diferentes entidades que viven en la casa, quienes son solo utilizados por una fuerza mayor que es quien los domina y será la misma fuerza maligna que la ataco a Lorraine cuando estaba embarazada.

What is this movie about?

In my opinion, this story focuses mainly on the Warrens' fear of losing their daughter Judy (Mia Tomlinson) again, as the girl is stillborn after Lorraine touches a cursed mirror, which they were unable to free from the demon at that time. However, against all odds, the girl manages to come back to life, causing her parents to overprotect her during her childhood. As the years go by, this mirror returns to their lives, and this time they cannot escape it. They must face the demon that torments the Smurl family, who are desperate and do not know what to do to free themselves from this evil force. We see scenes of how they are attacked by different entities that live in the house, who are only being used by a greater force that dominates them and is the same evil force that attacked Lorraine when she was pregnant.

Una de las escenas que más temor me causo fue cuando judy se estaba probando su vestido de novia dentro de un cuarto lleno de espejos y ahí ve a una presencia maligna de una mujer que le acompaña, quedando ella petrificada con semejante aparición. Al igual que la escena cuando el padre Gordon lamentablemente es atacado y obligado a quitarse la vida.

Como pueden ver esta película es igual de perturbadora que las anteriores, hay que tener bastante valor para verlas, ya que es difícil sacarte de la mente escenas que te acompañaran por largo tiempo por lo impactante de la escenografía y maquillaje que emplean para estas entidades, lo que si me gustó mucho de esta nueva entrega es que los Warren no estarán solos, acá se les une el prometido de su hija Judy, Tony ( Ben Hardy), quien se gana la confianza de los padres de ella y demuestra su valentía luchando unto con sus suegros en contra de estas presencias sin más armas que el amor infinito que siente por su prometida, culminando la película con su boda, lo cual nos hace inferir que en las próximas entregas veremos a la familia Warren más fortalecida con dos nuevos miembros.

One of the scenes that scared me the most was when Judy was trying on her wedding dress in a room full of mirrors and she saw the evil presence of a woman accompanying her, leaving her petrified by such an apparition. The same goes for the scene when Father Gordon is sadly attacked and forced to take his own life.

As you can see, this film is just as disturbing as the previous ones. You need to be quite brave to watch them, as it is difficult to get the scenes out of your mind, which will stay with you for a long time due to the shocking scenery and makeup used for these entities. What I really liked about this new installment is that the Warrens will not be alone. They are joined by their daughter Judy's fiancé, Tony (Ben Hardy), who wins the trust of her parents and proves his bravery by fighting alongside his in-laws against these presences with no weapons other than the infinite love he feels for his fiancée. The film culminates with their wedding, which leads us to infer that in the next installments we will see the Warren family strengthened with two new members.
