***One of the experiences I enjoy most is the celebration of the Virgen del Valle, as she is a symbol of faith and protection for many devout families. Over the last three weeks, we have had various religious activities whose main purpose is to venerate her through neighborhood gatherings.*** ***As I told you a few days ago, where I live it is customary to carry the Virgin Mary from floor to floor of the building so that each neighbor can display her on their best altars and share a pleasant time together, where prayers are said for those who are ill, andand thanks are given for favors received. This activity lasted 18 days because the building has 16 floors plus the ground floor, and yesterday was the general sharing, as it was the official day of the Virgin of the Valley, which, incidentally, was declared a non-working day in the eastern states as a sign of respect for our traditions.*** ***Since my children were born, I have entrusted their health to the patron saint, who represents a symbol of love and faith for me. *Una de las experiencias que más disfruto es la celebración de la Virgen del Valle, por ser un símbolo de fe y protección de muchas familias devotas, estas últimas 3 semanas hemos tenido diferentes actividades religiosas cuyo propósito principal es la veneración que se le profesa, mediante reuniones de los vecinos.* *Como les conté hace unos días, donde vivo se acostumbra a llevar la virgen piso por piso del edificio para que cada vecino pueda lucirla en sus mejores altares, y compartir un rato agradable, donde se hacen peticiones por los que están enfermos, y se agradecen los favores recibidos, esta actividad tuvo una duración de 18 días porque el edificio cuenta con 16 pisos más la planta baja, y ayer se realizó el compartir general por ser el día oficial de la Virgen del Valle, que por cierto fue decretado como día no laborable en los estados Orientales, como muestra de respeto por nuestras tradiciones.* *Desde que mis hijos nacieron le he confiado su salud a La virgen patrona, la cual representa para mí un referente de amor y fe, como siempre un gusto compartirles mis vivencias, hasta una nueva oportunidad.*
