The history of Humanity is full of such complex details... As Humanity itself.
I want to share with you a little detail... Just a point on that immense canvas called "universal history"
It is a children's story, which Disney took from the pages of a book to a cartoon in 1938 and which was banned by the dictators Franco and Hitler, each citing different reasons!

The message contained in this animated short is complex.
Wars start long before the first shot is fired.
That is an interesting piece of political propaganda hidden in a harmless cartoon with clear, recognizable and obvious symbology of who it was directed at.
For Franco, a man of the right, it was left-wing propaganda.
The Nazis, also on the right, allies of Franco, could not let such propaganda pass.
Regardless of whether the message referred to peace or democracy, there is the fact of the source of said piece and the objective it sought.
The following year the Second World War began.
It is not an "innocent little drawing."
Doing a contextual and content analysis would be interesting. The reality of the decisions of rulers, whatever their ideology, is not usually as simple as common people like us tend to perceive it.
Beyond the message of peace, or the defense of democracy, or anti-bullfighting sentiment, there is more.
It is a topic to talk about for hours and to summarize it you have to sit down and work for a long time.
I am not a fan of bullfighting since I discovered all the hardships that the bull suffers before going out into the arena.
It's truly barbaric: they torture him in various ways: they don't let him sleep, they beat him, they drug him, they squeeze his testicles with a rope so that the pain stimulates his anger.
So much so that it causes me to say, But it's a lot to write!
That animated short film is political propaganda as well as many other animated short films that Disney made from that time. That falls into what today could be called "cultural wars."
It also falls within the scope of what we know today as "psychological warfare."

La historia de la Humanidad está llena de detalles tan complejos... Como la Humanidad misma.
Quiero compartir con ustedes un detallito... Un punto apenas en ese inmenso lienzo llamado "historia universal"
Se trata de un cuento infantil, que Disney llevó de las hojas de un libro a un dibujo animado en 1938 y que fue ¡Prohibido por los dictadores Franco y Hitler, cada uno alegando razones distintas!

Es complejo el mensaje que guarda este corto animado.
Las Guerras inician mucho antes de que se realice el primer disparo.
Esa es una pieza interesante de propaganda política encubierta en un inofensivo dibujo animado con simbología clara, reconocible y evidente de a quien estaba dirigido.
Para Franco, hombre de derecha, era una propaganda de izquierda.
Los Nazis, también de derecha, aliados de Franco, no podían dejar pasar semejante propaganda.
Mas allá de si el mensaje hacia referencia a la paz o a la democracia, está el hecho de la fuente de dicha pieza y el objetivo que buscaba.
Al año siguiente se inició la 2da guerra mundial.
No es un "dibujito inocente".
Hacer un análisis contextual y de contenido sería interesante. La realidad de las decisiones de los gobernantes, sea cual sea su ideología, no suele ser tan simple como acostumbramos a percibirla el común de las personas como nosotros.
Mas allá del mensaje de paz, o de defensa de la democracia, o de sentimiento antitaurino, hay mas.
Es un tema para conversar por horas y para resumirlo hay que sentarse a trabajar un buen rato.
No soy partidaria del toreo desde que descubrí todas las penurias que padece el toro antes salir a la arena.
Es una verdadera barbaridad: lo torturan de varias formas: no lo dejan dormir, lo golpean, lo drogan, le apretan los testículos con una cuerda para que el dolor estimule su ira.
¡Tanto que me provoca decir, Pero es mucho para escribir!
Ese cortometraje animado es propaganda política así como muchos otros de los cortometrajes animados de esa época que hacía Disney. Eso entra entre lo que hoy se podría denominar "guerras culturales"
También cae dentro del ámbito de lo que hoy conocemos como "guerra sicológica
