Going to make my deliveries...sort of

Hey y'all 👋

Aside from my little honour system market on my land I also deliver my baking to two different stores near me.

One is a butcher shop and the other is a natural food store.

I feel very blessed to have these outlets as I live kinda in the middle of nowhere though my market does pretty good business, especially in the summer when the tourists flock to the valley.

Most mornings I load up my car with fresh baked goods.

Today's treats are:

Sea salt and olive oil sourdough bread, extra large 1000005042.jpg

Plain or chocolate chip zucchini bread 1000005043.jpg

All packed up and ready to go! 😄🥰

I head to the butcher shop first, it's about 10 minutes away in a small town called Bridgetown.

Next I zoom over to a tiny village called Granville Ferry. I got most of the way there (7 mins from my house but 20 from the meat store) only to remember...fuuuck, they are closed on Thursday. Lol Thanksgiving long weekend screwed up my sense of time.

Oh bother. I hate making mistakes but I'll certainly get over it.

In other news today ... It rained!!

We have been in a record drought all summer, almost everyone around here is struggling with their wells. Ours has been dry ish for months.

Been doing laundry at the laundry mat and filling up many jugs of water at the local spring to help take the pressure off our well.

With this rain and the storm we had last week I'm hoping and praying that we can have showers longer than 30 seconds soon hahaaa. 1000005047.jpg

Trough is full wooohoooo!!! 1000005048.jpg

Well, I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay cool Hivers.
