I've always loved being outdoors and enjoyed being with nature. There is something about being out in the open air that allows me to reconnect with my inner peace. I know that sounds like a cliche, but there is nothing like watching the world change around you as you walk through it. One of my favorite places to do this would be the river near my house. Being so close to the water really does calm me down and allows me to spend some time just enjoying myself before I go back home.
Walking outside is my favorite exercise as it would give me a closer look at the nature that surrounds me. Walking makes me feel more grounded and connected with the earth, as well as gives me more time to enjoy the beauty of what's around me. I love the fresh air, the scent of flowers and grass, and the calming sound of water running along side of me. The scenery is beautiful, and it's so refreshing being outside.
I found that not only me love this place, many others also choose this path for a walk or a running exercise. I guess they all want to spend some time in nature and have their mind refreshed with the cool air from the wind blow on their face. And for me, walking also the time spend for myself, I enjoy the walking quietly, let my eyes filled with the green color of the grass and let my thought flow freely with the water. The fresh air and scenery was refreshing and while my mind filled with thoughts, I still found myself at peace, all my stress and worries just disappear.
This walking path is not long, just take me about 20 minutes but it should be enough for me to refresh my mind and make myself ready for the upcoming.
