Binoculars - Ink drawing, 21 x 16cm, Inktober 2024
Welcome to day 5! Today’s prompt is binoculars. I have not touched grass since I began Inktober, but at least I could include it in my drawing! Eyyy! I will take it. At least until I stabilize my sleep and my schedule works smoother.
The energy levels barely hover above - I feel fucked up by a train, and my brain is now mashed potato. The only thing I got going with this is that, oddly, I do not feel anxious in this state. It is very strange. Either it is due to me getting fully locked in, or I am so tired I am slightly numb. Yeah, creative stuff requires a ton of energy. It is mentally and physically taxing. Yet I fucking love it! Otherwise, I would not be doing this. It is worth it! So, what do we have here today? I was not going to focus so much on binoculars as the object itself but more on the functionality of this device. You spot something curious in the distance but cannot fully see all too well. Well. If you had binoculars, you likely could get a better look. That is what I try with my drawing. Is that a little fox by the forest? Look, right there!  Here is a sneak peek of the process, of course! 
I have noticed that I need some noise while working on my art. Besides music, I love listening to podcasts, streamers making streamer things happen, and YouTube videos. Any noise will do! It takes the edge off, but I wonder if that also makes me feel more tired. I am not sure how brains are braining! Anyway, I would like to call out the [Trash Taste](https://www.youtube.com/@TrashTaste/videos) podcast as the dominant noise today. If you like anime, manga, and people just shooting the shit, this podcast is very entertaining.

Day 5 complete! Have I mentioned how much I love looking back at the completed works? It feels great!
And lastly, here are a few more photos of my flowers from my garden. Unfortunately, we had some frost this week, and now it looks sad. I am glad I took these while they all were still happy!
