## ChainCulture, Networking time 😉
The second day of Hivefest was the chainculture event where we can see other projects around Web3 in Malaysia and SEA.

This was something specially interesting for me as we also have the opportunity to talk about hive & increase Hive exposure out there. With a few scannable cards that I have, I made sure that those cards are distributed 😂and honestly, I thought I would sit down listening to the presentation but I ended up talking to people about Hive and learned new projects out there.

I talked a lot with the group from Zap Pay and these guys asked about hive and why I still stayed in hive. I met a few people checking out the booth and was wondering what the banners were all around it. I stayed around the nearby Hive booth. Just if anyone wants to know how it works, I was ready to show them around. So, that’s what I did during the event and at the time, I was just happy if anyone wanted to know about hive.

But during the end of the presentation, I was sitting down and listening to the panels talking about To Gas or Not To Gas. One of the things that intrigued me is definitely building a sustainable business by Aaron Teng. I have to rewatch it again but he’s saying some interesting ideas about keeping the business sustainable and actually making people pay for the service.

During chainculture, I was also checking out @thebeedevs workshop on clive.ai. I hope they’ll improve its capability and also make it a paid version 😂like chatgpt but more affordable. I hung out around the workshop quite a bit and tested the AI.

When I got down again, it was drizzling and I got this awesome shot below.

Then, I went around and @detlev gave me the worldmappin shirt & I was taking pictures with @phattaragon and the penguin 😂 that was quite an interesting day and a long one. Oh and obviously, the one and only @ninaeatshere who were soo busy onboarding.

Now, I got one nickname coined by @cryptospa. Now it’s not macchiato but cappuccino 🤣
But to keep everything short, I got so much more inspiration from the event and how others presenting there were so passionate about the projects that they did. That passion can be quite an inspiration and that’s how I felt about it too and helped me to be more confident about the things I did around the chain.
## Batu Caves!
Unlike others who took the bus, Walter and I took the train that made me happy because I got to capture the old station area. I wished they would renovate it cause that would be a cool train station. Though maybe keeping it vintage like this was a good idea as well. Oh and I learned that basically I should bring a battery from Indonesia rather than getting it in Malaysia as they are not really a heavy duty one.

Once we reached batu caves, I didn’t really go up because I hadn't had my coffee 😂and I badly needed one. Thankfully, I spotted @cedricguillas and @clayboyn too. We all ended up getting some coffee (my first of the day) and I became quite animated again.

Then, I waited for the others to come back down and we took this group photo and I think this is my first picture with @gtg too.

I got so busy immersed in the moment and that I don’t have that many pictures with me. But I am sure others have mine a lot like the one in @aswita’s recount of the event and some all around @viviehardika's blog too.

After this field trip excursion, some of us went out a bit around but that will be for another story. During Hivefest10 it’s like everyday is a full packed day. We wake up, activities, and sleep, repeat 😀
I didn't even get that many chance to be on my laptop as often as I usually am. That's why my story is a little late than others 😄 but that's OK cause now, I can reminiscing how amazing the experience was.
I wished I brought more scannable card that I still have some left at home. Maybe another time when I have this kind of opportunity, I'd do it again. It was fun for me to talk about Hive and to others about how business works in SEA and shared my opinion too. So, once again, thank you @roelandp for organizing this experience!
