「 Everyday Chapters 」

Unlike previous Sunday when I was taken into some type of sudden adventure, this Sunday was quite a humble one. My life these days is actually part of the dream I used to have. Back in the day, I wanted to have time to study theology and have a discussion with others. While I did it many years ago, that habit died down due to my best friend passing away and I no longer have someone to actually discuss theology in a more intriguing way. Then, an offer came about early of this year when I was more upfront about my faith. You know, I have the freedom not to follow it but I decided to go through with it and now, I live the dream. ![Macproperty(250).png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/macchiata/23uFTZQWZ4jxBNKTvMRXULggzBxEaLTYpB2aGw49vejSkYn32V2TBwgR3Bip6u5Q2h7bi.png) Every Sunday, at least starting from two weeks ago, I got to discuss and talk about theology. It’s definitely a lot different than religious studies because theology is rooted in a contextual scripture whereas religious studies is a lot broader and pertaining about sociological or even anthropological perspective. Well, I don’t want to bore you with all these but after church, I usually go to a cafe these days to get some coffee and actually revise what I am about to share during the evening. Lately my Sunday has become a lot more meaningful than the Sunday I used to experience. Perhaps, it simply fulfills all of the things that I love, which is learning and sharing. Through discussion, not only I get to learn something but also fill the gap of my understanding. So, I definitely enjoyed this new activity every Sunday. It’s a topic and field of study that genuinely intrigued me. There’s so many mysteries and things beyond our understanding.

When I got to the cafe, it was quiet as usual. I got myself a meal because my mom is out of town and there’s no food at home. You know, I promised myself to lessen my cafe visits as I’ve been going out too often these days. I don’t think it’s normal at all to go almost daily. So, these days Sunday is when I actually go and as for the rest, I either brew coffee at home and get some bottled coffees that I can have at home. Since I workout outside and walk outside, that gives my brain a bit of “ you’ve gone outside and that’s it. I notice the difference when I don’t go outside. It’s always that I feel a lot more restless and hardly falling asleep. So, I am trying to go out at least an hour either for a walk or to do some errands. These days the street is filled with the country’s national flag and all sorts of decorations. It’s quite festivities. There’s a new K-drama that’s currently on-going. So, every weekend I am stoked waiting for it too. If you’re into a legal drama, it’s called Beyond The Bar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kj8hAS8brK8 The main character is a nepo baby but tries to break away from those stereotypical attributes. But there’s more to it that I don’t even know yet since it’s only in its 4th episode. So, that’s something I am definitely looking forward to every weekend lately. ## What about you? Do you have anything that you’re looking forward to every weekend lately?
