They warned me about this client when she made a request for me to make 3 Denim wears for her. She wanted 2 Denim Cargo trousers and 1 Denim gown with 2 Front pockets but this time a pink Denim.
So I said why not, I told her how much it will cost her, she was trying to negotiate with me and finally we agreed on a price and I agreed to start work.
So I quickly went to the market because she needed it on the weekend and that was a Tuesday, so I went to the market to buy the jeans, getting there there prices were now higher than what I used to get it for, and especially for the color of Denim fabric she wanted, for the bright blue one and the pink.
Well I still went through with the purchase, they didn't have the Pink one yet so I bought the blue and black denim and went home and started making the trousers.
Because of other activities it took me almost 2 days till I finished the trousers. I first cut them using her body measurement, it's a free trouser so there wasn't much stress in cutting.

I started sewing from the black one.
I joined the both back crotch together.

Fix the front zipper fly

Fixed the cargo pockets and put every seam together. Then I used silver spray paints for the pocket cover.

Then I also started with the blue one, it was the same process I took to make the black one, and soon they both were ready.

So the next day I decided to head back to the market for the pink one, hoping I'll find it and good enough I did see a good number of them. So I made the purchase and they handed me the fabric

On getting home I quickly laid out the fabric, input her body measurement and cut out the fabric. She is a plus size lady so her dress is bigger than most ones I make. But every stitch was worth it, I was excited to be getting it done and everything going well.

I fixed the pockets and all according to her body size and the length just right for her, I was so sorry convinced it was.

And soon I was done with the gown.

When she called and asked if I was done with the clothes I said yes, she said to send her a photo of them. Then I sent her a video of the pink gown which was the one she was more interested in.

Well her reply wasn't really good. She said the length was too long. She said which length did you use, I told her it's 42, she said oh, it's not so long, it's actually short. I assured her that the length is good and that it was where she wanted it .
Then she said the pockets were too long that I need to adjust it. I told her I'm sure the pocket will be good and I can't adjust it after I've sewn everything it just means loosing the whole dress. I told her that when she gets the dress she'll see that the pocket was good on her
Well she agreed to that and asked me to package it for her and I did.

So she finally got the dress and wore it, instead of the initial complains, she actually loved the dress and told me the pockets were good and the length also good.

So I'm so glad she loves the dress in the end and there was no complain. I was confident in my work and I didn't disappoint the client so I was happy. Below was the photo she sent me of her wearing the dress.

It was such a a joy making and completing these projects, working with Denim is a step more difficult than normal fabrics because they're very strong and most times really heavy. So I thank God for the wisdom of being able to achieve it and make the client happy.
Thank you all for your time here and I hope you enjoyed the post
