Hello dear needleworkers!
It's another beautiful day to share with you all here. And what better thing to share than what we all love to do, working with needles. And today I'm going to share another project of mine that I was able to complete.
This particular project was remarkable because I was in a lot of pressure. The client called me and said he needed me to make him vintage shirt and trouser and he needs two of the outfit. He said he needed it in 1 weeks time. But the thing that put me in more pressure is that I had a trip to make in the next two days so I won't even be around then, but I didn't want to turn the client down as I really needed the money so I had to rush to the market that day, get the fabrics and start the work.
At the market I was looking for the colors and designs that will be suitable for him as he is really black skin. I finally found one that I really liked the color so I sent to him to confirm and he liked it and asked me to get it. Below was the fabric, very beautiful colors and unique.
Ok so I had a hard time choosing the second color of fabric and it took a while for me to find one until I did. And I think that one is also nice even though I liked the first one better
After buying the fabrics I headed back home and even though I was tired and only had a day to sew it, I drafted the shirt pattern and used it to cut out both shirts
Next I also cut out the trousers for each of the fabric and set them aside

Next thing I did was ironing, I placed hemming gum on the button front allowance and ironed it flat before moving to machine to sew.
I sewed both shirts simultaneously and soon I was don with both. Starting from hemming the button allowance, joining the shoulders, the sleeves, then closing up the sides and hemming the down.

Since I'm almost the same size with the guy, I did a little fitting on my body to see how it is
So next thing I did was cut the collar for both of them using the collar gum and then used the iron to apply it on it, then sewed both collars onto the two shirts and they were both ready.
Since it was already late and I was feeling all sleepy, The had to go sleep for a while, I had two hours of sleep then woke up to complete the trousers. The shirts already took me almost 6 hours to complete because of waiting for light to iron some part and machine troubles at some point and also the fabric is a very light one.
The trousers didn't take as much time as the shirts, and I was done before I knew it
Next thing I did was take it to weaving and for them to put buttons and buttonholes on them and as well weave the trousers.
And that was it, the outfits were ready and I packaged it and asked my little sis to go deliver it to him. With that I was done with everything concerning the dress and was time to pack my stuffs for the trip I was making.
