Today I'll share you a fun little project I did recently with resin. This Idea is perfect if you're bored of your old phone pack and wants to transform it to a brand new stylish look without spending much. I transformed mine and I'll share how I did it with resin. ## What I Used: * Epoxy resin * Hardener * Colour powder (You can use any shade you want) * Old phone case ![IMG_20251027_105742.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmSnL6BzzXRJL22a1nbpALihXMQixJf5Xsy1MiSfF7JyrH/IMG_20251027_105742.jpg)|![IMG_20251027_105803.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmVyyXAde5GqooMZGWQLKXtmsHPvkUgLcwzSuX8rr5csAh/IMG_20251027_105803.jpg) ---|--- ## Procedure * It doesn't take much steps, I just mixed resin and hardener using the ratio of 2:1 and mixed them in a little bowl * Next add the mixture of colors I wanted ![IMG_20251027_105749.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmNZ49joArckTRj6AWkhM7sBQsP26trdvPWtoMskroM2Fs/IMG_20251027_105749.jpg) And I kept stirring the mixture until they thicken a bit while bursting all air burbles. Next step when I was sure the mixture was ok, I set the old case and was pouring the mixture on it to allow it to take up the shape of the phone case ![IMG_20251027_114216.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmUrmbFVVwqiV6gqrDHkc27KFDtWtXME4SLY6Eft6MjuSC/IMG_20251027_114216.jpg)|![IMG_20251027_114458.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmX5hnZiH9Ur2UpkeNxnZjBFLDBpG8ZfRXAWodg8FRwzzr/IMG_20251027_114458.jpg) ---|--- After pouring it over and using a tiny stick bore the holes of the case, I let it dry for a few hours. ![IMG_20251027_153503.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmV2TLb15gm5psy2zSBFoMNn6F9X7rEYtbBqY27cFGgGoG/IMG_20251027_153503.jpg) After it dried it was time for me to shape it. So I used a razor blade to achieve that, I scraped off excesses and made sure the edges were smooth. ![IMG_20251027_154633.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmbYYSjoKcpEuLvCggwHnbgMiAnSg78L5TtzgBXN2ejN3o/IMG_20251027_154633.jpg) And there I had it, looking nice and and lovely. ![IMG_20251027_173342.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmTwh8wJzQ32FKSKmb18gAXZB8MvKhL1dn32McfJFqMKE8/IMG_20251027_173342.jpg) ![IMG_20251027_174841.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmadPdSWVAkWTXJsuL6sc1tQqeRURMBrcKF7GpUyUiAbAn/IMG_20251027_174841.jpg) It felt like I had acquired a new phone case and it felt amazing. I love how shiny and unique it looks and the fact that I made it myself makes y even more special. This is a recycling idea for you in case you've been wanting to throw your old phone case a way. Give it a new life today using resin. The steps are not so difficult as you see and it doesn't cost much. I do hope you enjoyed this post and loved the whole idea behind it. Thank you all souch for your time here, and I hope to see you all next time. Images belong to me
