Although Saturday is a day of rest for many people, I did not have a day off. Especially for my work, Saturday is also open. Sometimes it can be an afternoon. Sometimes it can be a full day. It depends on the arrival of customers. Accordingly, today I was supposed to spend an afternoon on official work. But after waking up in the morning and doing all my work, I went to observe the cultivation of the garden, which I had not been able to see in the past.
These days, many parts of Sri Lanka are experiencing dry weather conditions. That is why water has become an essential factor for many plants. During this period of water scarcity, it has become very difficult to provide water to the plants because we need to save it for drinking. In fact, many types of plants have withered due to the lack of rainwater and the lack of water we use. In fact, it is a reason for our cultivation activities to decline and our mental state to decline. Although the few capsicum plants had grown very well during the last rainy season, it can be seen that they have now become weak.
You all know that growing nutritious and fresh vegetables in a garden has become the most appropriate thing in this time when we need to consider our health more carefully. We must accept it without a doubt. However, since the lack of rain has caused a great hindrance to the growth of these plants, it is certain that it will also severely affect our harvest. In fact, although a better harvest was obtained from every vegetable plant due to the rains that have been present throughout the past, it can be seen that the harvest has also been reduced due to the fact that it has dried up. It should be noted that the growth of the plants is particularly slow.
Due to the lack of water, the incidence of insect infestations in plants has increased. Especially due to the lack of sufficient water to spray insecticides, fungi are becoming more common on the leaves of these trees. As a result, the growth of the leaves has been hampered, which has clearly affected the harvest in our garden.
I I had to work hard on the garden for about an hour from 6:30 to 7:30 in the morning because it was essential to increase the growth of the plants. After that, I did not see many customers today after coming to my office. Since yesterday was a holiday, many customers came to our store yesterday. Because of this, our sales volume today had decreased slightly.
At around 1:30 PM, I returned home after finishing my work to go to the city to get my daughter's clothes. After staying at home for a while, I had lunch and then went to the Manjari Shopping Center in Galle with my eldest daughter. There, I wanted to get some clothes for my daughter because I could not afford to give her new clothes for a few months. In addition, I also wanted to get some clothes for my newborn daughter.
We can get any product we need for our home from the shopping complex called Manjari Trade Center in Galle, where we both came. Therefore, it is very valuable to have a shopping mall in one place, more easily, and saving time, making it easier for customers to choose products. The customer service officers provided us with more assistance in choosing the clothes needed for my two daughters. Because of this, I was able to buy more clothes at a very low price. It was really beneficial for my wallet as well. Today, my busy lifestyle went like this.
