Hi my loving Actifiters,
Greetings everyone! How are you guys? I hope this new week is an efficient and productive one for all of you. Yesterday was a Sunday so I had a day off. But my wife received a phone call from her mother at around 7.30 am. Her father had returned home after surgery and had asked us to come there. Since Sunday is the day I bring the necessary items to the house, I quickly went to the fish, vegetable and grocery stores and bought them. I returned home with the purchased items as soon as possible and had breakfast. Although I was not mentally prepared to go on any journey, this journey was essential. Accordingly, we left home at around nine in the morning.
After an hour and a half drive, we reached the house of my wife's parents. After checking on her father, I decided to take a walk in that beautiful village with the aim of getting some mental relief. Walking in a village allows you to see the beautiful views of Mother Nature. You can get the shade of the trees. You can feel the waves of the wind. You can reflect on my beautiful memories of my childhood. That is why I love walking in villages the most. Although the weather had changed from time to time yesterday, it was very hot in the morning and afternoon. No matter how much I sweated, I walked in the village with great enthusiasm because I could bathe in the small stream.
The sky was shining in blue and white, adding a clear reflection to the golden color of the rice fields. The combination of colors in nature can be said to be so beautiful. The rice industry has been temporarily stopped these days because the paddy plants have been cut after the rice harvest. The youth of the village engage in the traditional game of elle during such times. It is usually in the evening. I remembered playing the game of tug-of-war as a child, running around in the mud of the paddy fields.
The sacrifices made by the farmers working in these fields to harvest the rice crop are not insignificant. We should give them special respect for the work they do to provide rice, the staple food of our country. During the paddy harvest, they use the shade under a tree on the side of the paddy field to eat. While people living in the cities eat on the table, these farmers eat in a miserable way. But they love that environment very much. The interest of my journey was also to stop for a moment and breathe at these natural junctions. Although it is possible to enter the activities of the farmers through mental imagination, you can know the live experience by staying with them for a day in the middle of the scorching sun. It does not take long to realize that it is not an easy task.
When I finished the journey and returned home, I was drenched in sweat. That is why I walked towards the small stream and took a bath. There is no pollution here because of a flowing stream. By staying in the water and staying in one place, the fish started biting my feet. That was also a beautiful experience. Since it has only been a day since the rains started, the water level in the canal is a little low. In just another week, the water level could rise significantly.
