Hey friends of Music zone. It feels a bit strange coming back here after being away for so long. Life pulled me away from music and from this community for a while, but I never stopped missing it. Sometimes we need that pause, even if it’s frustrating. Now, I’m ready to share again — slowly, step by step.

Se siente un poco raro regresar aquí después de tanto tiempo ausente. La vida me alejó de la música y de esta comunidad por un tiempo, pero nunca dejé de extrañarlo. A veces necesitamos esa pausa, aunque sea frustrante. Ahora estoy listo para compartir de nuevo — despacio, paso a paso.

For this week’s round, I chose “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars. It’s a song full of regret and reflection — things I think we all know too well. I wanted to strip it down to just piano and voice, to focus on the feeling more than the polish. I hope you can hear the honesty in it, even if it’s rough around the edges.

Para esta ronda elegí “When I Was Your Man” de Bruno Mars. Es una canción llena de arrepentimiento y reflexión — cosas que creo que todos conocemos muy bien. Quise simplificarla a solo piano y voz, para centrarme en el sentimiento más que en la perfección. Espero que puedan escuchar la sinceridad en ella, aunque no sea perfecta

Playing and singing this song brought back memories of times when I wished I’d said or done things differently. Music has that power — to open old wounds but also to heal them a little. Sharing this with you feels like opening a window I had closed for a while

Tocar y cantar esta canción me trajo recuerdos de momentos en que desearía haber dicho o hecho las cosas diferente. La música tiene ese poder — abrir viejas heridas pero también sanarlas un poco. Compartir esto con ustedes se siente como abrir una ventana que tenía cerrada por un tiempo.
