燕云十六声的畫面、劇情以及龐大的世界觀,處處都展現出一款AAA級大作的水準。很多玩家可能會質疑:這麼大規模的一款遊戲,真的能在手機上運行嗎?畢竟,我們從來沒聽說過能在手機上玩《Elden Ring》這類的沉浸式作品。

出乎意料的是,透過「大神」這個App,我下載了《燕云十六声》的手機版本,結果發現無論是探索地圖、戰鬥打鬥,還是觀賞劇情動畫,手機端的體驗與PC端幾乎沒有差別。所有在電腦上能做到的操作,手機上同樣能夠實現。

更令人驚喜的是,手機版在某些方面甚至比電腦版更便利。以網易遊戲常見的「領取獎勵」設計為例,玩家需要頻繁在各個功能頁面之間切換。在電腦上,無論是用滑鼠還是手把來點擊,都不如直接透過觸控手機螢幕快捷流暢。這讓日常任務和獎勵收集的體驗明顯提升。

另一個突出的優勢,就是手機遊玩帶來的自由性。舉個例子,前幾天我比預定時間早到了一個小時的匹克球俱樂部,我就在匹克球俱樂部球場的附設餐廳坐下來,邊喝飲料邊遊玩《燕云十六声》。這種「隨時隨地開局」的輕鬆體驗,是PC無法比擬的。

至於戰鬥部分,我原本擔心手機性能可能無法流暢支撐這類大作。然而實際上,不論是遊戲運行速度還是網路連線穩定度,都並沒有出現問題。遊戲畫面流暢細膩,角色技能施展毫無延遲,完全打消了我先前的顧慮。

值得一提的是,《燕云十六声》設有一個名為「辅助卸势」的功能:當敵人發動攻擊時,螢幕會即時跳出按鍵提示,只要在提示消失前點擊,便能成功格擋並造成對手短暫硬直。這在手機端操作起來依然非常直觀,甚至比鍵盤操作更容易上手。

最後,在錄製方面,手機遊玩同樣展現了便利性。只需另一部手機拍攝,即可清楚記錄操作方式與即時畫面。相比電腦端還需要準備各種錄影設備,手機的「即錄即得」優勢顯而易見。

Where Winds Meet is a stunning AAA-quality game with impressive visuals, engaging storylines, and a huge open world. Normally, games like this are only playable on high-end PCs or consoles—just like Elden Ring, which no one expects to run on a phone.

Surprisingly, using the Dashen app, I’m able to play the Chinese version of Where Winds Meet on my phone, and it’s hardly any different from the PC experience. You can freely roam the world, fight enemies, watch cinematic story scenes—all smoothly on mobile.

Playing on mobile actually offers some convenience advantages. Many NetEase games require you to frequently check various menus to claim rewards, and tapping with your finger is much faster than using a mouse or controller.

The biggest benefit is the freedom to play wherever you want. For example, one day I arrived early at my pickleball club, and just relaxed in the club’s attached restaurant, sipping a drink while playing on my phone—a really nice way to pass the time.

Combat feels smooth and responsive on mobile. My worries about phone CPU power or slow mobile data affecting gameplay never materialized.

There’s a helpful feature called Assisted Parry, where during enemy attacks a button pops up on screen. If you tap it before it disappears, you parry the strike and stun the enemy, giving you a chance to counterattack. It works very well on a touchscreen and makes combat more dynamic.

Another plus is that recording footage on mobile is easier than on PC. I just used a second phone to film my gameplay and hand movements, which is much simpler than setting up PC recording equipment.

One thing to note: the official English version of Where Winds Meet is not yet out on Steam but is scheduled for release worldwide on November 15, 2025. However, the mobile English version’s release date is still unclear. For now, I’m enjoying the Chinese mobile version through Dashen.

Overall, Where Winds Meet proves that a large-scale AAA Wuxia RPG can offer a full, smooth experience on mobile platforms. It might be changing our expectations about how big games can work on phones.
