Meine erste NFT-Sammlung steht zum Verkauf in der NFT Showroom Galerie!

Die Bilder

Nachdem ich meine ersten Versuche mit 32x32 Pixelart hinter mir hatte (zwei davon ebenfalls auf NFT Showroom zu finden) habe ich nach meinem ersten Tiergesicht (von einem meiner Lieblingstiere, dem Quokka) noch weitere gepixelt. Schließlich entstand diese Serie von 9 Tieren, die nun meine erste Sammlung von NFTs auf der Hive Blockchain wird. Das Tier ist jeweils Pixel für Pixel "handgezeichnet", der Hintergrund mit Verläufen und Werkzeugen ausgearbeitet.

Das Quokka dient mir nun als Profilbild, das dürfte auch für die anderen Tierbildchen ein guter Verwendungszweck sein.

Rechte/Verwendung

Die Rechte sind auf "privat" eingestellt, was bedeutet, dass die Bilder nicht kommerziell genutzt oder vervielfältigt werden dürfen. Als Urheber gebe ich jedoch folgende Berechtigungen:

Der (momentane) Eigentümer DARF die Bilder in den Profildaten seiner Accounts in sozialen Medien ohne Namensnennung verwenden, sowie in - hive.blog-Beiträgen, vorausgesetzt, dass der Künstler (@magicquokka) genannt wird. - anderen Beiträgen in sozialen Medien, sofern das Instagram-Profil des Künstlers (https://instagram.com/quokka_pixelart/) verlinkt ist.

Das Ziel

Ich halte bei NFTs für essentiell, dass dahinter eine bestimmte Funktion oder ein Zweck steht. In meinem Fall ist das diesmal eine private Angelegenheit:

Der "Gewinn" aus dem Verkauf der Bildchen soll an den WWF Deutschland gespendet werden. Jeder Käufer trägt damit auch einen kleinen Teil zum Natur- und Tierschutz bei.

Ich fange erstmal klein an: Bei der Preisberechnung ziele ich auf einen Gewinn von 50 HIVE für die ganze Sammlung von 9 NFTs ab. Als Profilbild machen Unikate Sinn, jedes Bildchen muss also 5,555 HIVE an Gewinn abwerfen. Bei 3,333 HIVE Mint-Kosten und 10% Gebühr beim Erstverkauf, ergibt sich für den Preis eines Bildchens 9.875 HIVE.

Den Gewinn aus etwaigen Verkäufen werde ich HIVE->EURO einfach 1:1 umrechnen (solange Hive < 1€, ansonsten nach aktuellem Kurs) und privat spenden, da beim tatsächlichen Umwandeln über Bittrex->Coinbase->Paypal mit meiner bevorzugten Methode z. B. von 100$ nur ungefähr 82$ am Ende ankommen 😬

PS: Falls ihr ein gutes Crypto-Charity-Projekt (vorzugsweise auf der HIVE Blockchain) kennt, das sich mit einer etwaigen nächsten Sammlung (transparenter) unterstützen ließe, lasst es mich wissen!

Schlusswort

Ich habe keine Ahnung, ob die Rechnung so aufgeht wie geplant, aber ich lasse mich überraschen, wie's mit den Tierbildchen weitergeht! Ich werde garantiert weiterpixeln, und vllt. gibt's dann bald die nächste Sammlung - eine Idee habe ich schon.

The first NFT collection is listed for sale in my NFT Showroom galery!

The images

With my first attempts at 32x32 pixelart behind me (two of which are also in the NFT showroom), I kept pixelating after my first animal face (of one of my favorite animals, the Quokka). Eventually I came up with this series of 9 animals, which will now be my first collection of NFTs on the Hive blockchain. In each case, the animal is "hand-drawn" pixel by pixel, and the background is edited with gradient tools and filters.

The Quokka now serves as my profile image, which should be a good use for the other animal images as well.

Rights

Rights are set to "private", which means you may not use or reproduce the artwork commercially. However, I as the copyright owner grant the following permissions:

The (current) owner MAY use the artwork as profile data on social media without attribution, as well as in - hive.blog posts, provided that the artist (@magicquokka) is credited. - other social media posts, provided that the artist's instagram profile (https://instagram.com/quokka_pixelart/) is linked.

The goal

I think it's important with NFTs to have a specific function or purpose behind it. In my case, it's a privately organised one:

The "profit" from the sale of the little pictures is to be donated to WWF Germany. Each buyer thereby also contributes a small part to nature and animal protection.

I'll start small at first: When calculating the price, I aim for a profit of 50 HIVE for the entire collection of 9 NFTs. As a profile picture, single editions are useful, so each picture must bring 5,555 HIVE profit. With a 3,333 HIVE tokenize-cost and 10% fee on the first sale, the price for a picture must be 9,875 HIVE.

I will simply convert the profit from any sales 1:1 HIVE->EURO (as long as Hive < 1€, otherwise according to current exchange rate) and donate privately, since with the actual conversion using my preferred method via Bittrex->Coinbase->Paypal from 100$ only about 82$ actually arrive 😬.

PS: If you know of a good crypto charity project (preferably on the HIVE blockchain) that could be supported (more transparently) with a possible next collection, let me know!

Conclusion

I have no idea if the math will work out, but I just let myself be surprised what happens next with the animal pictures! I will definitely keep pixelating, and maybe there will be a next collection soon - I already have an idea.
