It's also my entry for the weekly contest about Hive Top Chef competition . I want to share My Oldest recipe with all of you which name is Chicken potatoes with sauce in Punjabi name is Alu ghost. I hope you will like and must try. First I will tell you the ingredients and spices. Then start the process.
Ingredients
One kg chicken
One kg potatoes
Big sizes onions
Ginger garlic paste two tablespoons
One big tomato
Green chillies
Spices
Salt
Red chilli
Turmeric
Chilli flakes
Black pepper
Garam masala
Dry grind coriander
Process
I washed chicken and cut potatoes into midum sizes. But first I took big pot added required oil then put cut onions in the for frying.
After stir frying onions I added chicken then again fried it still changes into golden shade.
After frying chicken I added ginger garlic paste green chillies and tomato slices then mixed and stir fry. Later on I added whole spices that available at home I also mentioned above.
After adding half cup water I cooked chicken then I added cut potatoes in the chicken. I mixed potatoes in the chicken stir fry then I added two glass water and covered with lid under midum flame.
After ten to fifteen minutes I opened cover and potatoes cooked well. Oil came above the sauce. I dish out in a bowl for final look.
