Hellow Hive Family, this is @mairaj.ansari from Karachi, Pakistan.
As Artificial Intelligence is evolving rapidly, the question keeps growing on everyone’s mind, and my mind too,🥶
Will AI take our jobs, or will it create new ones?
We’ve seen both fear and excitement. On one hand, automation is replacing repetitive tasks in industries like manufacturing, customer service, and even basic level programming. On the other hand, AI is also creating demand for new skills like data science, machine learning, AI ethics, prompt engineering, and more.
To be honest fellows, some jobs will definitely disappear. Progress and evolution always happen like this. As we no longer need telephone operators or lift attendants, AI is gradually making some roles obsolete.
In my belief, AI is not only replacing people from jobs, but also partnering with them to make work easier and efficient.
Doctors are using AI to diagnose faster. Writers are using AI to brainstorm ideas (yup, guilty! 🤫). Even artists are exploring AI tools to expand their creative limits.
So, What Should We Do? Instead of resisting change, we should prepare ourselves for it. Here’s how we can improve ourselves using AI
We should learn skills that AI won’t be able to replicate, like creativity, critical and analytical thinking, strategy and last but not the least, emotional intelligence 😊
Use AI as a tool, not a threat. Whether you're in marketing, finance, design, or education, AI can help you work smarter, not harder. Keep learning. The world is shifting fast, and lifelong learning is the only way to stay relevant.
My Opinion: Yes, jobs will change. But we humans? Our adaptability is far more superior than any other creature, leave the technology aside. We’ve survived the industrial revolution, the internet boom, and now, it’s time for the AI revolution.
I have been a Customer Service professional throughout my career and that’s the job which AI is taking over rapidly through smart integration with WhatsApp for client responses, some CRMs that automate the whole ticket journey just with an email to start, and several other smart Apps.
The question is not “Will AI take my job?” but “Am I ready to evolve with it?”
I have used AI for most of the tasks in my office like ideas on process optimization, finding excel formulas and getting SQL queries. I feel like I have improved both in quality & accuracy with it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post, I truly appreciate it!
