Hello, dear Open Mic family! It's a pleasure to be back in this special corner, where music and expression intertwine in a magical way. This week we embark on a sonic journey to explore the theme of “Darkness.”
I believe that darkness has many facets that are sometimes unexplored, and we tend to take it only in its literal sense: the absence of light. However, it often manifests itself as an internal state, a corner of the soul where pain, doubt, and vulnerability dwell. It is a space that we sometimes turn to in solitude and that can also serve as a place of introspection before returning to the light.
In relation to this, today I share with you the song “Con Otra” by Argentine singer Cazzu, a piece that reflects precisely that emotional darkness that is experienced when love turns into disappointment, when disillusionment leaves a void that seems impossible to fill, but which, when looking back, becomes learning and personal growth.
This song is steeped in a darkness that comes not only from betrayal, but also from disappointment, irony, and the bitter certainty that deception is a repeating cycle. It is not the darkness of night or of a room without light, but rather the darkness that dwells within a relationship marked by infidelity, lies, and the pain left behind by disappointment.

¡Hola, querida familia de Open Mic! Es un placer estar de vuelta en este rincón tan especial, donde la música y la expresión se entrelazan de manera mágica. Esta semana nos embarcamos en un viaje sonoro para explorar el tema de “La Oscuridad”.
Creo que la oscuridad tiene muchas aristas que a veces no se exploran y solemos tomarla únicamente en su sentido literal: la ausencia de luz. Sin embargo, muchas veces se manifiesta como un estado interno, un rincón del alma donde habitan el dolor, la duda y la vulnerabilidad. Un espacio al que, en ocasiones, recurrimos en soledad y que también puede servirnos como lugar de introspección para luego volver a la luz.
En relación a esto, hoy les comparto la canción “Con Otra” de la cantante argentina Cazzu, una pieza que refleja justamente esa oscuridad emocional que se vive cuando el amor se transforma en desilusión, cuando el desengaño deja un vacío que parece imposible llenar, pero que al mirar atrás se convierte en aprendizaje y crecimiento personal.
Esta canción está impregnada de una oscuridad que no proviene solo de la traición, sino también de la desilusión, la ironía y la certeza amarga de que el engaño es un ciclo que se repite. No es la oscuridad de la noche o de un cuarto sin luz, sino la que habita dentro de una relación marcada por la infidelidad, la mentira y el dolor que deja el desengaño.
