I want to make your favourites into video games
I've been asked to create a tutorial around a particular video card game from the 1980s, and in talking to the editor we realised there is opportunity to use the graphics etc for a whole series of games.
One problem. I don't know many card games, and certainly not many card game winning algorithms ...
So I need your help! What card games do you love, and especially how would the computer play well enough to make them fun?
As an example, 21 (and whatever people call it) is not too bad as the logic is straightforward

Draw until the player sticks or goes over 21

Computer/dealer draws

If the dealer total is 16 or under then they draw another card

Closest to 21 wins and in a tie the dealer wins
Back when I worked for a college I recall we really got into playing "Hearts" on Windows 3.11 when that came out. I can't even remember the rules now!
What would you suggest?
