Hay una máxima en la religión cristiana que dice que todos los humanos fuimos hechos a imagen de Dios,pero cuando vemos las diferencias fisionómicas, a más de uno de seguro le entra la duda con respecto a esto. Y es que sin ánimos de entrar en temas religiosos, no podemos decir que somos iguales cuando la realidad se nos pinta de diferente manera.
Justo esa fue la conclusión a la que llegué luego de ver una serie de murales en los que cada artista interpretó la realidad de acuerdo con sus propias convicciones, pero que al verlo en conjunto, resulta ser toda una galería urbana que nos muestra la realidad de la ciudad cargada de historias que se entrelazan con el día a día.
Pese a los años que ya han transcurrido, el dolor de las madres de mayo sigue latente entre los dolientes, los sobrevivientes y toda la sociedad que lleva esa herida latente. Una historia que va de boca en boca, para que las nuevas generaciones no vayan a caer en los mismos errores que llevaron a ese triste desenlace.
Y es que tal como dijo Simón Bolívar, el Libertador de Venezuela. "la ignorancia de un pueblo no solo limita su desarrollo, sino que lo hace vulnerable a la opresión, la corrupción y la tiranía", por eso mantener ese recordatorio constante es una lección abierta no solo para los argentinos, sino para todos los que vivimos en estas tierras.
En esa pared, también encontré este mural al estilo cubista en el que sin detallar mucho vemos un poco de como una sociedad en la que conviven diferentes fenotipos, se enriquece no solo visualmente, sino también de forma cultural.
Finalmente, este cuadro que fue mi favorito, por representar una tradición muy propia de estas tierras, que se está desvaneciendo con los años. Una pareja mayor bailando el llamado 2x4 porteño, que es un símbolo internacional de la argentinidad, aunque internamente son pocos quienes se atreven a bailar un tango de vez en cuando.

Despite the years that have passed, the pain of the mothers of May remains latent among the mourners, the survivors, and the whole society that carries that latent wound. It is a story that is passed on by word of mouth, so that new generations do not fall into the same mistakes that led to that sad outcome.
As Simón Bolívar, the Liberator of Venezuela, said, “The ignorance of a people not only limits their development, but also makes them vulnerable to oppression, corruption, and tyranny.” That is why keeping this constant reminder alive is an open lesson not only for Argentines, but for all of us who live in these lands.
On that wall, I also found this cubist-style mural in which, without going into too much detail, we see a little of how a society in which different phenotypes coexist is enriched not only visually, but also culturally.
Finally, this painting was my favorite because it represents a tradition that is very typical of these lands, but which is fading away with the passing of time. An elderly couple dancing the so-called 4x2 porteño, which is an international symbol of Argentine identity, although internally few dare to dance a tango from time to time.
