Usualmente mis salidas recreativas están asociadas con el café, pero este domingo luego de ver la carta, decidí pedir una milkshake de oreo en "La tienda del Café", pues ya lo había probado hace un par de años en otra de sus sucursales, y la verdad es que resulta delicioso al paladar, pero sin ser tan dulce como para no querer tomarlo todo.
Esta franquicia es una de mis favoritas, pues aunque se especializan en cafés, también ofrecen postres, malteadas y comidas rápidas, a las que les agregan un toque personal que las hace únicas. Además, son espacios tan gratamente ambientados en tonos grises y crema, que las hacen una especie de escondite dentro de la ciudad, para liberarse del ruido y el stress.
La atención fue sumamente rápida, sobre todo porque le pedí a la chica que me cobrara por adelantado, ya que iba a pagar con mercado pago y mi celular estaba a punto de apagarse, así que entendió rápidamente y actuó en consecuencia, facturando prontamente para poder pasarme el postnet y scanear el QR y pagar. No es lo que se estila hacer, pero esa empatía le da un plus a la atención de la chica.
Cuando me trajeron el vaso, vi que la presentación es completamente diferente, y esta tenía más cantidad que la otra, viéndose una buena proporción no solo de crema batida, sino también de syrup de chocolate. Lo común en ambas es el adorno en el tope con la galleta oreo arriba, pero en la que tomé ayer se podían sentir los trozos de galletas mezclados con la leche, lo cual hacía mucho más agradable su sabor.
Al momento de servirlo, colocan además de un sorbete más grande que el que se usa habitualmente para que sea más fácil poderlo tomar, y también ofrecen una cucharilla, para quienes gustan de comer la crema sola para luego tomarse el batido aparte. En mi caso, usé la cucharilla para sacar la galleta y evitar que se fuera hasta el fondo.
Disfruté de mi bebida con calma, pues el local no estaba tan lleno como para que fuera necesario que desocupara la mesa, dándome tiempo de estar sin hacer nada más que tomar la milkshake sin hablar ni pensar en nada extra que pudiera distraerme, cerrando con "broche de oreo" una semana bastante atribulada.

In addition, they are so pleasantly decorated in shades of gray and cream, which make them a kind of hideaway in the city, to get away from the noise and stress.
The service was extremely fast, especially because I asked the girl to charge me in advance, since I was going to pay with Mercado Pago and my cell phone was about to turn off, so she understood quickly and acted accordingly, invoicing me promptly to be able to pass me the postnet and scan the QR and pay. It's not the usual thing to do, but that empathy gives a plus to the girl's attention.
When they brought me the glass, I saw that the presentation is completely different, and this one had more quantity than the other one, showing a good proportion not only of whipped cream, but also of chocolate syrup. The common thing in both is the garnish on the top with the oreo cookie on top, but in the one I had yesterday you could feel the pieces of cookies mixed with the milk, which made it much more pleasant tasting.
When serving it, they also put a larger straw than the one usually used to make it easier to drink, and they also offer a spoon, for those who like to eat the cream alone and then drink the milkshake on the side. In my case, I used the spoon to scoop out the cookie and keep it from going all the way to the bottom.
I enjoyed my drink calmly, as the place was not so crowded that it was necessary for me to clear the table, giving me time to do nothing but drink the milkshake without talking or thinking about anything extra that could distract me, closing with “oreo brooch” a rather troubled week.
