Image by Hello, friends of Hive and music lovers like me. Today I have decided to share in this space, an initiative of @ablaze, three musical themes that touch my heart. Music, in general, is wonderful. It does so much good, but I prefer old and romantic songs. For those of us who have gray hair, listening to it makes us a little nostalgic, because those were the years of our beautiful youth. Music called from the prodigious decade.
When I thought about this participation of mine, I remembered to include here a radio program that is heard in Cuba every night and that has been on the air for more than 55 years, a varied program that plays all musical genres and has, above all, the music of yesterday. Music to fall in love with, as its announcers usually call it, NOCTURNO, that is the name of the program. This is the song that identifies it: by Fausto Papetti, La Muchacha de la Valija.
And over the years they included this song by Los Dan, a Cuban musical group who wanted their song to immortalize this sensational program and they succeeded, it is the song "Ser Lo Que Esperas" by Vicente Rojas.
Hola, amigos de Hive y amantes de la música como yo. hoy me he animado a compartir en este espacio, iniciativa de @ablaze, tres temas musicales que me tocan el corazón. La música, de manera general, es una maravilla. Tanto bien que hace, pero yo prefiero las canciones viejitas y románticas. Para nosotros los que peinamos canas escucharla nos da un poco de nostalgia, porque fueron los años de nuestra hermosa juventud. Música llamada de la década prodigiosa. Cuando pensé en esta participación mía recordé incluir aquí un programa de Radio que se escucha en Cuba cada noche y que lleva al aire más de 55 años, un programa variado que toca todos los géneros musicales y tiene sobre todo la música del ayer. Música para enamorar como suelen llamar sus locutores, NOCTURNO, así se llama el programa. Este es el tema que lo identifica: de Fausto Papetti, La Muchacha de la Valija. Y al pasar de los años incluyeron este tema de Los Dan, un grupo musical Cubano que quisieron que su tema inmortalizara este sensacional programa y lo lograron, es canción "Ser Lo Que Esperas", de Vicente Rojas.

When we hear the theme song that identifies the program, our hearts, especially mine, begin to beat strongly, remembering moments of our youth that we will always remember, moments of happiness and especially of love. I will tell you that my husband and I do not miss a single one of those programs. Then, at the request of the public, they include this program in the television programming on Thursday nights.
My three favorite songs for this occasion are from two Spanish women who are no longer with us, but who left their mark with their performances, Rocío Durcal and Rocío Jurado, as well as a song from the group Mocedades.
Cuando oímos el tema musical que identifica el programa, ya nuestros corazones y el mío, sobre todo, comienza a latir fuerte recordando momentos vividos de nuestra juventud que siempre recordaremos, momentos de felicidad y sobre todo de amor. Les diré que mi esposo y yo no nos perdemos ni un solo de esos programas. Luego, a petición del público, incluyen este programa en la programación televisiva los jueves en la noche. Mis tres temas preferidos para esta ocasión son de dos españolas que hoy ya no están con nosotros, pero dejaron su huella con sus interpretaciones, Rocío Durcal y Rocío Jurado, además de una canción del grupo Mocedades.

In general, I am fascinated by music. But not only the music of Spain, but also music from other countries around the world and especially from Cuba, where we have a lot of beautiful music from all eras. I will include music from Cuba in my next post.
