> Hello [Alien art](https://peakd.com/c/hive-158694/trail) community.
Today I start a new series called "Thinking", they are humanoids or people performing this act.
This is a pixel made at 256 x 256 using the 1 bit color palette and adding some custom ones.
This is the 3rd installment of the “Thinking” series, they are humanoids or people performing this act.
This art is in my [Nft Showroom](https://nftshowroom.com/gallery/manclar_thinking_pensando-en-catolocomputo?collection=true) gallery and was made using [Aseprite](https://www.aseprite.org/) .
On this occasion my drawing touches on deep themes, which are explained below in one of the sections where I have uploaded a detailed image giving you all the explanation as a reference to my art.
Its name: **Catolocomputo** is explained at the end. ### Timelapse of the drawing

>I make the internal part of what is the body, leaving a space in what is the brain with a + sign to later decide if later I added any ideas there, because I am not sure what it will look like.
I represent the shoulder with a circular geometric figure and color the background of the body and head, thus giving life to the humanoid that is already thinking, but we still don't know what.
I decide it's time to start working on the next step.

>I begin the part that I consider the most challenging and laborious of this art, which is the outline of the entire creature, creating a kind of alien wallpaper, with symbols of technology, pieces, chips or parts of a ship.
To do this I start from left to right and progressively from bottom to top.
As I go along I build the pattern that gives more and more meaning to the work.
I am adding additional details to the wallpaper, such as small paws and symbols to different pieces, in specific parts where I want to give more meaning to this art.
I create a labyrinth with fine lines and many details, to represent a microworld within the macroworld of thoughts.
If you observe you will be able to notice 2 or 3 labyrinthine patterns: >- One that is with diagonal lines that represent ideas or crooked paths (center left part marked with #1 in a yellow circle) >- Another with straight lines (top left and top right) that give rise to logical principles or arguments (Marked with #2 inside a green circle). >- And finally another with patterns like computer chips (center right part marked with #3 inside a red circle) that represent the puzzles or challenges to be solved.

>I place the gray layer in different shades of shadows and highlights, I correct some patterns and extend others, I add some special symbols in what is the brain of the image to represent the mind, generating focused thought and finally I add the background.
I add my signature and logo.
Thinker #4 is already analyzing himself and also you.

>I have called this art "Thinking in Catolocomputo" because this word that I have invented is the conjunction of what I represent in this art, it goes like this:
**The “Cato” for the twisted paths or ideas, the “lo” for the logical part in the drawing, and “computo” for the part represented as computer chips, in this way this nft has adopted its name and personality.**
This art presented me with the challenge of representing crooked, logical ideas and difficulties through straight lines, avoiding curved lines as much as possible, since this is the main artistic intention in my work. I managed it nicely and am pleased with the result.
I hope you have enjoyed the process. If you are interested in me doing another series of this nature, let me know in the comments and I will be happy to get to work on it.
Thank you for visiting me and enjoy my art.

>I start by making the sketch with the part of the hand that is always the most complicated, making the gesture of leaning on the jaw, simulating the act of thinking. For this I use color #050100, which is the same base used, respecting the original colors of the previous arts in this series.
I proceed to draw the edge of the body in order to have the main reference and start working on the internal part in the next stage.
I leave some lines at the base of the middle of the body, which will serve as a reference to draw the patterns of the body from there.
