The topic I'm going to talk to you about this week has a lot to do with this post directly with the making of this post because something quite unique happened to me about two days ago.
I was very distressed because there was recently a nationwide power outage and I didn't know if I was going to be able to post for this week's topic, because there is no guarantee that they would turn the power back on in enough time for me to create the publication and all that.
They know that laying out and writing the publication, placing the images and all that takes time to put it correctly and make it a nice and pleasant job.
But the point is that within the anguish of not having electricity recently, finally yesterday, Saturday, I received electricity after being without electricity on Friday and a large part of Saturday, and I honestly tell you that I had to listen. radio and reading books.
I have almost read all the books I have and well, when these things happen I have to read them again.
But on Friday and Saturday it was one of my plans to sit down and write about procrastination, which is the central topic of this week's talent show, and it turns out that I couldn't do it because I was forced by this external factor to postpone it.
But after the power came back on, the opposite happened.

I felt like a kind of reluctance, like I wanted to put it off for later, maybe I don't know if this was a direct product of a side effect of the anxiety that being without electricity these days caused me or I don't know, but I felt quite discouraged.
Even today, Sunday, when I had thought about making the publication, I said no, I better do it tomorrow, on Monday, and publish it for Tuesday, and I remembered how important it is to overcome procrastination.
To do this, you have to take action and simply make the decision to leave that comfort zone that many times, because of fear, because of something that one does not want to face, does not do that task or this publication.
Maybe in my case, now that I'm thinking about it, I think it was like the boredom of doing a task when I could have been watching videos or doing other things with pixelart that I like so much, and then I rationalized and realized that I was simply delaying and postponing an opportunity.
I realized that I shouldn't continue procrastinating and here I am writing this text.
I realized that by taking this step to action and challenging this procrastination, I now feel much better because, apart from the fact that I am fulfilling my goal, which is to make this publication, I feel good because I realize that I managed to overcome this obstacle and I think this is the best example I can give to each of the people who read this type of content.
Procrastination is something that we can combat and that we must also do because it is very harmful if we take into account what it produces, it can cause us a lot of anxiety, it can cause us a lot of stress and it can obviously reduce our work capacity, our productivity.

Because we get distracted and we stop, no, I'm going to do that work tomorrow, I'm going to make that publication tomorrow, the day after another, and so we postpone it and we don't produce.
I think we should take this seriously and the best way to do it is to set a realistic goal, subdivide the tasks, make a task outline by dividing them and set goals that we can achieve that are realistic.
There is also the factor of activating that way of thinking about tasks as something that is a challenge and that will help us contribute and grow more and that will always keep us with a positive mentality that will help us overcome all this. of procrastination.
We can even help ourselves with applications that are very interesting like Forest, which makes a tree appear that makes you focus on the task while you are doing it and as long as you are doing it well, the little tree on the screen will stay alive and will continue to grow, This application allows you to focus on that.
Other applications like Trello that allow you to organize all things, all tasks, or Asana that allows you to manage all projects, teams have calendars, allows you to place reports, etc.
These are tools that allow us to combat procrastination and I believe that what I have told you will serve as help or knowledge in a very general way to avoid procrastination.
I know that they can, that it is simply a matter of getting on with it, having the will and courage to do it and get out of your comfort zone.
If I have achieved it, I am sure that you can too.
