Hello Splinterlands fam!
I hope you all are doing well in life and enjoying the day with your loved ones while waiting for the upcoming weekend. For splinterlands players however, they may get be busy playing the daily quest missions and tournaments, brawls and Frontier mode. Looking at the current season’s timer, we only have around 10 days in hand, so those of you who are actively playing in this ranked season will be focusing on pushing their trophy count and shove into the next league. Though it may seem that there’s still enough time, as the time passes, more and more players will get active. So, it would get harder to reach whatever goals you have set for this season, either to reach a particular league tier or to compete and snatch a place in the top champion leaderboard. Sox if you are playing in this ranked season, try pushing now and use all your strength, even look in the rent market if you are missing any important card, and show them what you got.
Now for me, I am fully focused on the Frontier mode in the game and as I am continuously playing this newest mode, the addiction is getting real. For those who don’t know, this is a complete free-to-play mode in splinterlands, where you do not need to pwn or rent any cards or assets like SPS and can straight play right away and start earning rewards. You will get foundation edition cards as rewards, which is a special limited edition card-set that can only be obtained via playing the frontier mode or buy them in market. For new players, it get even more fun and attractive, because first, you play the campaign mode and learn about all the basics of the game and earn a bunch of foundation cards for completely the whole campaign mode book 1. Then you can easily start playing the frontier mode with those cards and start earning mode foundation cards as rewards for completing daily quests. There are daily quest in frontier mode just like the ranked mode, where you get 3 quests every day and every quest finishes when you complete total 5 wins in this mode.
Now for me, I am currently playing at the Gold I, the highest league tier in Frontier mode with current trophy count of 2,840. Last season, I secured a place at the frontier leaderboard, and was rewarded with 4 foundation packs and 15 frontier entries. So, after the season end, I bought some foundation cards and strengthen my collection and to fill all the remaining missing cards, which I have shared in one of my previous posts. Due to those newly added cards, my performance has increased a bit I think, because from season start, I am able to hold my position within Gold I and now been able to slowly increasing my trophy count. I have also been collecting all the frontier packs and getting since the season end time and so far, I have saved 19 and will open them all when I make a big count.
FOLEN FLAMEYE
Now, moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be focusing the light upon another amazing Conclave Arcana monster. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Folen Flameye. So, if you want to know more about this monster, let me know in the comments below.
The Folen Flameye is a monster type card that was released in the game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana edition cards. This monster belongs to the Earth element and it comes from the Human bloodline, but looking at its stats, it flaunts way too much being a human. Anyway, it costs a whopping 7 mana ti be ysed in battles, so it is ideal to choose it when playing medium to high mana limit matches, but due to its defensive health + armour combo and a high melee attack, you can try using this monster alone in low mana matches as well. By rarity, it is an Epic type card, so you will need a total of 46 CC to upgrade this monster to its max level. Apart from featuring both defensive and offensive side of this monster, it also holds 4 abilities which I am going to talk about below. Let us now take a look at its league wise stats and abilities to find out more about this card.
BRONZE
At level 1, this monster possesses a decent defensive stats of 3 melee attack at 3 speed with 8 health. Apart for that, it also gets the Flank ability which helps it to make another melee monster attack from second position.
FLANK
- At the beginning of the battle, if this unit is in the first position, the unit in the second position gains reach.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster to level 3, there it receives an increased stats of 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 9 health. Not only that, but it also gets a brand new ability at this level called Thorns, with which, now it can send back damage whenever attacked by melee monsters.
THORNS
- Returns 2 physical damage to attacker when hit by a melee attacks.
GOLD
As this monster gets upgraded further to level 5, there it receives a further increased stats of a whooping 4 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 11 health. Apart from the buffed up stats, it also receives a new ability called. Divine Shield at this level, which will protect it from the first attack.
DIVINE SHIELD
- Ignores all damage once, after which the Divine Shield is destroyed.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster card to its max level of 6, there it finally unlocks its max stats, as it now gets 4 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and an increased 12 health. Mot inly that, but gladly it also gets another ability at its max level called Impede, which in successful attacks decreases the target enemy’s max speed.
IMPEDE
- -1 to target’s speed after each successful attack.
I hope you enjoyed reading my post about the FOLEN FLAMEYE monster talk above. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
