Hello Splinterlands fam!
I hope you all are doing well in life and enjoying this pleasant day with your family and friends. Now, suppose you are also a splinterlands player and engage with this strategic card-based web3 game for a while. In that case, then you also know well the actual thrill while playing this game, building lineups according to mana and ruleset and then losing to your opponents. You may have played a lot of games in the crypto space, but I can say that there is hardly anything else that gives you the same level of enjoyment and adrenaline rush as it does. I have been engaging with this game since its release back in 2018, and I am still stunned to see this game bot not only surviving but thriving over time, where most of the other crypto-based gaming projects don't even survive their first crypto cycle. Anyway, looking at the ongoing ranked season, we still have around 11 days in hand before this season meets its end. So, whatever goal you have set for yourself in this current season, whether it is to reach a particular league tier or to compete for a glorious seat in the champion top leaderboard, I wish you all the best and hope you reach your destination before time.

Now moving on, let's talk about the Frontier mode and my latest activities in this mode. I have been playing this newly launched free-to-play mode for a while now and have been focusing fully on upgrading my foundation edition cards to max levels. Right now, they are mostly at archon level 3 supported, but need to climb another ladder to max them all, which will definitely take time, but I will continue as usual and also keep buying cards to boost my upgrading progress. In my last post, I shared that after the season trophy reset, I was back at Gold I league tier, but with 2,500 trophies and from there, I started playing for this season. In the season beginning, I struggled a lot even to reach 2,680 trophies, but after upgrading my water element archon and monster cards, my performance in frontier mode has improved a lot.

Just in these last 2 days, I have been able to score a significant amount of trophies and am currently playing with 2,980. I am very happy with the outcome and glad that I chose to upgrade the most powerful element cards in Foundation Edition. Anyway, so far I have collected a total of 12 raffle entries for the upcoming raffle draw, so let's see if I can finally win something cool!

Owlkin Geodesist
Moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another awesome Conclave Arcana edition card. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be discussing the Owlkin Geodesist. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this card, let's take a dive without any further ado.
The Owlkin Geodesist is a monster-type card which was first seen in splinterlands with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana edition card set. This monster belongs to the Life element and it comes from the avian bloodline. By rarity, it is a Rare type card, so it will require a total of 115 CC cards in order to upgrade this card to its max level. It requires only 5 mana to use this card in your lineup, so you can easily choose this card when playing medium to large mana limit matches. The attack type of this card is magic and apart from a good combo of health and armour at decent speed, this monster also has 3 awesome abilities at max level, which I will discuss later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league-wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

BRONZE
At level 2, this monster possesses pretty decent stats, which consist of 2 magic attack power at 1 speed with 2 armour and 2 health. Apart from that, it also gets an ability called Execute since its initial level, by which it may attack for the second time to the enemy unit if it has 2 or fewer health points after receiving the first attack.

EXECUTE - If the target has 2 or fewer health after a successful attack, perform another attack against the same unit.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster card further to level 4, its stats get increased a bit to 2 magic attack at 1 speed with 1 armour and 3 health. Not only that, but it also gets another new ability at this level called Enfeeble, which will reduce the enemy melee attacker’s attack power.

ENFEEBLE - -1 target’s melee power after each successful attack.
GOLD
As this monster gets upgraded to level 6, it increases its stats a bit further and now holds 2 magic attack power at 2 speed with 2 armour and 4 health. Apart from that, it also gets a new ability at this level called Divine Shield, which will protect it from the first damage received.

DIVINE SHIELD - Ignores all damage once the Divine Shield is destroyed.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 8, it gets a further enhanced 3 magic attack power at 3 speed with 2 armour and 4 health. Though it does not get any new abilities at its max level, the increased 3 magic attack will really help you in battles, while the strong armour + health combo will endure at least some low to medium level attacks before touching the ground.
Last but not least, for a 5 mana cost, the owlkin does a pretty good job and especially for its 3 magic attack power at max level, along with all those 3 abilities, it becomes even more important to keep in your collection. What do you think?
I hope you enjoyed reading my post about OWLKIN GEODESIST. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
