Hi guys, it has been a while since I have posted anything on Peakd, whilst I love to write, my businesses here in the Philippines seem to be doing much better, both my restaurant and apartments are recovering and have been keeping me occupied with renovations, new menu's and thankfully more guests to serve.
Going through the most recent Pandemic has changed my perception of life and what is truly important. Sometimes I find it hard to express my thoughts however it seems to radiate through writing, it creates a way to focus.
The Rat Race
Once you have acquired the perfect partner, the job, the home, the car, the fame, you still remain, Left wanting, there’s still something missing, not all levels have been completed in this game, More time on this earth seems to change the overall perception of success, To be the best is to truly accept and to understand one self.
On reflection of your achievements, there must be the realization that there are still many more mountains to climb, It is an uphill struggle which is mine. but can be conquered within the appropriate time. It is by design, To separate the man from the boy you must experience pain, fear, regret and being alone, And then to rise like a phoenix, from the ashes, overcoming challenges well known.
For Transcendence will present to you a new meaning, a new path to strive and to decide what matters most in life, Most definitely not the petty arguments, conflicts, jealousy, resentment nor strife, Your wants and needs may change and your desires no longer matter as they did before, Maturity kicks in, although you have all the material things, there is still something more.
When you look at your reflection in the mirror, you see the faces of those of importance, Who spoke words based on experiences, landing then, on deaf ears but now present its true relevance.
But that’s the point, we are just reliving what so many people have experienced previously The decisions that we make may be different but should be taken seriously, To be financially free and independent should be the goal at hand, Life is what you make of it, building a Legacy will forever stand.

In hindsight and to summarize, Legacy is, for me the ultimate goal, it is what you are able to leave behind and see continuously grow through generation to generation. What I have worked so hard to accomplish, is hopefully what my father had wanted, he initially set me on the path. We will not fail you.
