A modern expression of carnival in culture is the music festival. I have participated in a few over the years and it always serves as a needed break from the toil of daily life and the year of hard work. The following photos are from Envision Festival 2016. This annual festival occurs in February in Costa Rica. I assisted with installation and operation of the lighting on Lapa Stage, the one with the dual dragon heads.
