Hi beautiful people! 🌸 Hope you all are doing well and living your life happily. Today I’m going to share something very exciting with you all! In our Bogura district, a month-long Trade Fair has recently started — it’s called the Small and Cottage Industries Fair. This fair is held in different districts every year, and this time I got the chance to visit it with my family! 🎉

The fair started about seven days ago. From Gobindaganj, we traveled almost 35 kilometers to reach our destination. Since we went by bike, there was a parking area where we paid 30 BDT for parking and 20 BDT per ticket to enter the fair.

Just like every year, the fair was beautifully arranged, but this time it felt more festive and vibrant! There were more stalls than usual, and the main gate was decorated so beautifully.
As soon as we entered, the first stall was full of pickles — so tempting that I wanted to taste them all! 😋 There were also stalls for papad, chocolates, and dry snacks. The colorful lighting inside the fair instantly caught our eyes.
For kids, there were lots of rides and a mini train, where both children and adults were having fun. Though I didn’t go on any rides, I did try something special — Malai Tea in an earthen pot (matir bhar). It’s made in a traditional way: the clay cups are heated on fire, and then hot tea is poured in, which gives a light burnt aroma. It was my first time trying it, and honestly, it tasted amazing! ☕

While exploring the fair, I saw many different types of stalls — from body care and electronic home accessories to kitchen items and room décor. Almost everything you could need for your household was there!

There were also lots of food stalls — fuchka, chotpoti, ice cream, and more! One toy stall caught my attention — it had beautiful dolls, and as always, I couldn’t resist looking at them because I love dolls so much. 🩷
Though I felt some of the items were a bit overpriced, I know that at the end of the fair, many stalls give discounts, so it’s the best time to buy! Sadly, I might not be able to go again at that time.
There was also a strength-checking machine, and people were excitedly trying it. Other stalls included bags, dresses, shoes, jewelry, and cosmetics. I even bought a beautiful chain from one of the jewelry shops. 💍
Visiting the fair was so much fun — we enjoyed every moment. I wait for this fair every year. Although it hasn’t been held in Gobindaganj for a few years, this time we made the most of it.
It was such a lovely day filled with colors, laughter, and memories. ❤️ Thank you all for reading — see you in my next post!
