The snack I’m sharing today is something most Bengalis make at home from time to time, and I know how delicious it tastes! The recipe is for Sweet Egg Sandwich 🥪 — one of my personal favorites. It’s quick, easy, and made with very few ingredients. I’m sure you’ll love it too!

Ingredients: Bread, milk, egg, sugar, and soybean oil.

I made this recipe with just one egg, and it made 12 sandwich pieces! So if you have more guests or want to make extra, just increase the quantity of eggs, bread, and milk accordingly.

Preparation: First, I cracked one egg into a bowl. Then I added three tablespoons of sugar (you can adjust the sweetness as you like) and four tablespoons of milk. Mix everything well — you can also add a small pinch of salt if you want; it enhances the flavor a bit. Keep mixing until the sugar completely dissolves. 1000026842.jpg

1000026845.jpg I used a hand whisk for mixing, but you can also use a fork or spoon — whatever is convenient. Once the mixture is smooth and without lumps, it’s ready.

1000026849.jpg Next, I took six slices of bread and cut them diagonally to give them a nice sandwich shape.

Then I dipped each piece into the egg mixture, making sure both sides were well coated. After that, I heated a little oil in a frying pan and lightly fried the bread pieces until they turned golden on both sides.

And that’s it — our Sweet Egg Sandwich is ready! 😋 You can also enjoy this with a cup of tea ☕ or serve it to your guests as a delightful tea-time snack. 🍞✨ 1000026867.jpg

This snack is also great for kids’ tiffin — quick, easy, and tasty. That’s all for today! Stay with me and keep supporting. ❤️
