Digital Art | Acnurth, the one with the Electric Swords ⚡

 Good evening, my dear readers and members of the #Hive community. Happy Tuesday to everyone! I hope you are all doing very well and, of course, having an excellent week. Here's your friend Manuel, super happy to be able to share a new post for my blog with you. This time, I wanted to get a little creative and create a new character for my universe of warrior characters. In this case, I wanted the character to have a fairly stocky build, with prominent muscles in the torso, arms, and shoulders, but I didn't want him to be just a hand-to-hand combat character. Instead, his main weapons are two swords, through which he channels all his powers, making them much more lethal when it comes to wounding and cutting down his opponents. >*Muy buenas noches mis queridos lectores y lectoras de la comunidad de #Hive, feliz martes para todos y espero que se encuentren muy muy bien y que, por supuesto estén teniendo una excelente semana, por aquí los saluda una nueva oportunidad su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post para mi blog. En esta ocasión quise inventar un poco y crear un nuevo personaje para mi universo de personajes guerreros, en este caso quise que el personaje tuviese un estilo bastante fornido, una prominente musculatura en torso, brazos y hombros, pero que no fuese solo un personaje de combate cuerpo a cuerpo, sino que sus principales armas fuesen 2 espadas, a través de la cuales logra canalizar todos sus poderes volviéndolas muchísimo mas letales a la hora de herir y cortar a sus adversarios.* ### PROCESS / PROCESO  For the sketch of this character, I opted for a more medium-bodied style. In this case, I drew the warrior right in the center of my canvas, but not facing forward, rather slightly turned as if he were walking and entering a hall or combat arena. Once I had finished the line art, I continued with the coloring process. For this character, I wanted to use a fairly opaque color palette. For the skin, I used grayish brown and dark brown tones for the shadow details on the neck, chin, eyelids, and so on. Other details I wanted to add to this character were some tattoos or golden marks on areas such as the cheeks, eyelids, hands, and so on, and I would later highlight these marks. >*En el caso del boceto para este personaje opte por un estilo más cuerpo medio, en este caso dibuje al guerrero justo en el centro de mi lienzo, pero no de forma frontal, si no mas bien un poco ladeado como si se encontrase caminando y entrando a un salón o arena de combates. Ya habiendo terminado el line art proseguí con el proceso de coloreado, para este personaje quise utilizar una paleta de colores bastante opaca, en el caso del trabajo de la piel usé unos tonos marrones grisáceos y marrones oscuros para los detalles de las sombras, en el cuello, mentón, parpados y demás. Otros detalles los cuales quise agregar a este personaje fueron algunos tatuajes o marcas doradas en zonas como las mejillas, sobre los parpados, las manos y demás, y estas marcas más adelante las iría iluminado.*    For the hair, I opted for long, coarse-textured locks, very similar to the hairstyles worn by Vikings in Greek mythology. In this case, using green and yellow tones, I built up the texture of the hair, forming a kind of gathered mane with loose strands, leaving the ponytail to fall down the front of her shoulders. For the clothing, I started with what would cover the torso and legs, using a range of green tones and, with the help of my watercolor brush and another flat brush, I gave the clothing its shape and folds. Then, with very light green tones, I complemented her outfit with a kind of large cape behind which she hides her swords. >*Para el trabajo del cabello opté por una cabellera larga y de textura rugosa, muy similar a los peinados que llevaban los vikingos en la mitología griega, en este caso con tono verdes y amarillos construí toda la textura del pelo con formando una especie de cabellera recogida con textura de mechones sueltos, dejando la coleta caer en la parte frontal de sus hombros. Para el trabajo de la ropa empecé con lo que cubriría el torso y las piernas, para esto use una gama de tonos verdes, y con ayuda de mi pincel de acuarela y otro pincel plano fui dándole la forma y los pliegues a la ropa; luego con tonos verdes muy claros complemente su vestimenta con una especie de gran capa detrás de la cual oculta sus espadas.*    In the case of the swords, my idea was for them to have a very realistic and shiny metallic texture. I started with a few grayish tones, creating slight long glints to represent the metal in the blade, then with a fine brush and soft color, I tried to form the edge on the sides of the sword blades. Since this character channels his powers through his swords, I decided to create an effect of electricity emanating from the swords in various directions. Finally, I built some walls in the background, forming a kind of path or passageway to the place where the warrior would fight. I also brightened the swords and tattoos a little more to complement them. >*En el caso de las espadas mi idea era que estas tuviesen una textura metálica muy real y muy brillante, empecé con unos cuantos tonos grisáceos formando leves brillos largos que representaran el metal en la hoja, luego con un pincel fino y el color blando traté de formar el filo en los bordes de la hoja de las espadas. Como este se trataría de un personaje que canaliza sus poderes a través de sus espadas pues se me ocurrió crear un efecto de electricidad emanando de las espadas en varias direcciones. Al final me dedique a construir algunas paredes en el fondo formando una especie de camino o pasaje hacia el lugar donde el guerrero peleara, también ilumine un poco más las espadas y tatuajes para complementarlos.*     ### MATERIALS / MATERIALES - Sai Paint Tool Program - Huion inspiroy h610 v2 tablet >- *Programa Paint Tool Sai* >- *Tableta Huion inspiroy h610 v2*  Well folks, that's all for today.
