Digital Art | Ceccill, a prisoner in search of freedom 🗡

 Good afternoon my dear #Hive readers, happy midweek to all and I hope you are having a great day, here greets you as always your friend Manuel, super happy to be able to share a new artistic post for my blog. This time I bring you a work in which I have been working full time during the last couple of days, it is an illustration in which I wanted to represent a kind of space fugitive that I decided to call by the name of (Ceccill), who has just escaped from a high security prison taking advantage of the changing of the guard; (Ceccill) managed to disarm her guards and steal one of their swords, which will now serve to defend herself within the dangerous swamps that surround the perimeter of the prison, which she must cross in order to achieve her freedom: >*Muy buenas tardes mis queridos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, feliz mitad de semana para todos y espero estén teniendo un excelente día, por aquí los saluda como siempre su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. En esta ocasión les traigo una obra en la cual estuve trabajando a full durante el ultimo par de días, se trata de una ilustración en la cual quise representar a un especie de fugitiva espacial a la cual decidí llamar por el nombre de (Ceccill), la cual acaba de escapar de una prisión de alta seguridad aprovechando el cambio de guardia; (Ceccill) logro desarmar a sus custodios y robándoles una de sus espadas, la cual ahora le servirá para defenderse dentro de los peligrosos pantanos que rodean el perímetro de la prisión, los cuales deberá cruzar para poder alcanzar su libertad:* ### PROCESS / PROCESO  I started with my sketch giving a pose to the character of (Ceccill) as if she were crouching or squatting hiding from those who now seek her to recapture her, while in one of her hands she holds a sharp and long sword which she stole from the prison guards. With the sketch ready the next step was to choose the colors that would give shape to my character, in this case I took a palette of orange tones to work on the base of the character's skin, in this case I focused on creating a fairly soft, smooth and feminine texture for (Ceccill); then for the eyes section I wanted to contrast the look a bit with the skin tone, that was why I chose a reddish color palette with many high shine so that the look would look quite intense. >*Empecé con mi boceto dándole una pose al personaje de (Ceccill) como si esta se encontrar agachada o en cuclillas ocultándose de quienes ahora la buscar para recapturarla, mientras que en una de sus manos sostiene una afilada y larga espada la cual robo a los guardias de la prisión. Con el boceto listo el siguiente paso fue elegir los colores que le darían forma a mi personaje, en este caso tome una paleta de tonos naranjas para si trabajar la base de la piel del personaje, en este caso me centre en crear una textura bastante suave, tersa y femenina para (Ceccill); luego para el apartado de los ojos quise contrastar un poco la mirada con la tonalidad de la piel, fue por ello que elegir una paleta de colores rojiza con muchos brillos altos para que la mirada se viese bastante intensa.*    In the 2nd stage I took care of the hairstyle, in this case I wanted (Ceccill) to wear long hair tied back with a kind of ponytail behind her head, for this I used a range of yellow and orange tones that would give the hair the right shape and texture, as well as my bristle brush to represent good realism with many shiny strands. In the case of the clothing I used a reddish color palette to represent the prison outfit from which (Ceccill) has just escaped, in this case I wanted to represent a one-piece suit with sleeves and a high neck, and for this I slightly varied the reddish tones with the oranges to represent the lights on the suit. >*En la 2da etapa me ocupe ya del peinado, en este caso quise que (Ceccill) llevase una cabellera larga y recogida con una especie de coleta detrás de su cabeza, para esto use una gama de tonos amarillos y naranjas que le dieran la forma y textura adecuada al cabello, así como mi pincel de cerdas para representar un buen realismo con muchos mechones brillantes. En el caso de la ropa use una paleta de colores rojiza para representar el traje de la prisión de la cual (Ceccill) acaba de escapar, en este caso quería representar un traje enterizo de mangas y cuello alto, y para esto varié un poco los tonos rojizos con los naranjas para representar las luces en el traje.*    In the case of the sword, my idea was for it to be forged with some kind of texture or hard, shiny glass material. To do this, I took a few shades of purple and violet and worked on creating a large, fairly long, curved blade with a half-moon appearance. Then, using slightly lighter shades, I represented the edge of the weapon with a line around the entire front of the weapon to the tip. Finally, I dedicated myself to creating an atmosphere of the entire scene as if it were a swampy place. Using blue tones, I gave the ground a rocky appearance with many small stones. Then, using green tones, I created some vegetation and grass in different areas around the entire ground. Finally, I took my cloud brush and created some fog throughout the scene. >*En el caso de la espada mi idea era que esta estuviese forjada con una especie de textura o material de cristal brillante y duro, para esto tome unos cuantos tonos morados y purpuras y me ocupe de construir una gran hoja curva bastante larga con apariencia de media luna; luego con tonos un poco mas claros represente el filo del arma con una línea por todo el contorno frontal del arma hasta la punta. Finalmente me dedique a ambientar todo el escenario como si se tratase de un lugar pantanoso, con tonos azules le di una apariencia rocosa al suelo con muchas pequeñas piedras, luego con tonos verdes cree un poco de vegetación y pasto en diferentes zonas alrededor de todo el suelo; ya para finalizar tome mi pincel de nubes y cree un poco de neblina por todo el escenario.*     ### MATERIALS / MATERIALES - Sai Paint Tool Program - Huion inspiroy h610 v2 tablet >- *Programa Paint Tool Sai* >- *Tableta Huion inspiroy h610 v2*  Well, everyone, that's all for today.
