Digital Art | Lenormandia, The One with the Inner Flame 🔥

 Good afternoon, my dear #Hive community. Happy Friday and happy start to the weekend, everyone. I hope this has been an excellent and productive week for all of you, as it has been for me. For those who are new here, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Manuel, and I would like to welcome you to my art blog. This time, I wanted to bring you a work that is perhaps more free in theme, or that is not focused on games or series, but rather on a completely new character that I have invented myself. In this case, my idea was to create a magical elf named Lenormandia, who lives in the depths of a mystical forest, a place where all creatures born there develop some kind of unique ability or gift once they reach adulthood. in the case of the elf, she received the gift of fire, being able to easily generate it from the palm of her hand and extend it many miles away: >*Muy buenas tardes mi querida gente de #Hive, feliz viernes y feliz inicio de fin de semana mi gente, espero que esta haya sido un excelente y productiva semana para todos ustedes al igual de que lo fue para mí, para quienes sean nuevo por aquí pues permítanme presentarme, mi nombre es Manuel y quiero darles la bienvenida una nueva oportunidad a mi blog de arte. En esta ocasión quise traerles una obra quizá más a temática libre, o que no estuviese enfocada en juegos o series, sino de un personaje completamente nuevo he inventado por mí. En este caso mi idea fue la de crear una elfa magia llamada (Lenormandia), la cual habita en las profundidades de un místico bosque, un lugar en el cual todas las criaturas nacidas aquí una vez llegan a su etapa adulta logran desarrollan alguna clase de habilidad o don único; en el caso de la elfa ella recibió el don del fuego, pudiendo generarlo fácilmente desde la palma de su mano, y extenderlo a muchos kilómetros de distancia:* ### PROCESS / PROCESO  I started by making some basic strokes and constructing a good sketch that would give the basic structure to the body of (Lenormandia). In this case, since elves develop their abilities when they reach adulthood, I didn't want to give her a very mature appearance, so I made her around 22-25 years old. For the elf's skin, I decided to start with a fairly saturated and reddish color palette. A couple of orange and red tones were enough to build the base of the skin, giving it lots of shadows and highlights in different areas of the face, neck, and hands. Then, for the eyes, I used light oranges for the base of the eyeballs and medium reds for the lips. In the case of the eyes, I like to add a little contrast, which is why I used light yellow and orange tones for the irises and pupils. Then, for the lips, I only used an airbrush to give volume and shine to the mouth. >*Comencé realizando algunos trazos básicos y construyendo un buen boceto que le diera la estructura básica al cuerpo de (Lenormandia), en este caso como las elfas desarrollan sus habilidades al entrar a la edad adulta pues no quise darle una apariencia muy mayor, de unos 22-25 años de edad más o menos. Para el trabajo de piel de la elfa decidí empezar con una paleta de colores bastante saturada y rojiza, un par de tonos naranjas y rojos me bastaron para construir la base de la piel dándole muchas sombras y luces en las diferentes zonas de la cara, cuello y manos. Después para el trabajo de pintado de los ojos use unos naranjas claros para la base de los globos oculares y rojos medios para los labios, en el caso de los ojos me gusta contrastar un poco y es por ello que para el iris y las pupilas use tonos amarillos y naranjas claros; luego para los labios solo use aerógrafo para darle volumen y brillos a la boca.*    For the hair, I used medium orange tones. My idea was to create long, straight hair that fell down her back. Here, I mainly used a watercolor brush and another bristle brush to create a realistic texture of strands throughout the hair. I also used this same bristle brush for the eyebrows, but with a smaller size to give them a realistic texture that complemented the expression in her eyes. For the clothing, I opted for a more traditional, medieval style, using red tones to create the base of the dress, adding a little volume to the sleeves but leaving the bust and waist slightly fitted to her body shape. Then, using white and light brown tones, I created a second layer of fabric underneath the dress. >*Para el trabajo del pelo use tonos naranjas intermedios, mi idea era crear para (Lenormandia), una cabellera larga y lisa que cayera sobre su espalda, aquí use en su mayoría el pincel de acuarela y otro de cerdas para así crear una textura realista de mechones en toda la cabellera; también para las cejas use este mismo pincel de cerdas, pero con un tamaño más pequeño para darle esa textura realista y complementaria a la expresión de su mirada. Con el aparado de la vestimenta opte por una ropa con más estilo tradicional y medieval, con tonos rojo plasme la base del vestido generando un poco de volumen en la zona de las mangas, pero dejando el busto y cintura levemente ajustados a la silueta de su cuerpo; luego con tonos blancos y marrones claros cree una 2da capa de tela por debajo del vestido.*    In the last stage, I took charge of creating what would be the fire coming out of Lenormandia's palms. To do this, I first took a couple of orange tones and, with the help of the lasso tool, I gave the fire a tentacle-like shape pointing upwards, which became my base. Then, using yellow tones in an ascending manner, I created small irregular and random flames inside each other until I reached the center of the fire. Next, using an airbrush, I created a kind of energy or heat wave around the entire structure of the fire to make it look much more alive and, of course, realistic. Finally, I blurred the contours of the fire and the tips a little to blend all the shades and applied a final layer of glitter to illuminate both the fire and the face. >*En la última etapa me encargue de construir lo que seria el fuego saliendo de la palma de las manos de (Lenormandia), para esto primero tome un par de tonos naranjas y con ayuda de la herramienta lazo fui dándole al fuego esa forma como de tentáculos hacia arriba, siendo esta mi base, luego con tonos amarillos de manera ascendiente fui creando pequeñas flamas irregulares y aleatorias una dentro de la otras hasta llegar al interior del fuego; después con aerógrafo cree una especie de energía u onda de calor alrededor de toda la estructura del fuego para que este si viese mucho mas vivo y por supuesto realista, ya al final lo que hice fue difuminar un poco los contornos del fuego y las puntas para mezclar todos los tonos y aplicar una ultima capa de brillos que iluminaran tanto el fuego como el rostro.*     ### MATERIALS / MATERIALES - Sai Paint Tool Program - Huion inspiroy h610 v2 tablet >- *Programa Paint Tool Sai* >- *Tableta Huion inspiroy h610 v2*  Well, guys and gals, that's all for today.
