Digital Art | Nazariah and the sword of her destiny 🤺

 Good evening, my dear readers and members of the #Hive artistic community. Happy Friday to everyone who is here reading me on this beautiful night. For those who don't know me yet, let me introduce myself. My name is Manuel, and I would like to welcome you once again to my art blog. This time, I wanted to create an illustration focused on the theme of fantasy warriors, but at the same time, I wanted to incorporate a little magic into my drawing. That's why I wanted to create or invent this character, whom I decided to call Nazariah. She is a young but fervent fighter, skilled in combat with swords, daggers, and all kinds of sharp weapons. She was entrusted with finding a powerful and mystical sword, which was hidden in the catacombs of an ancient temple abandoned hundreds of years ago. It is said that this sword, in addition to its powerful and dangerous blade, also holds a mysterious magical energy inside that only the chosen person can unleash. >*Muy buenas noches mis queridos lectores y lectoras de la comunidad artística de #Hive, feliz viernes para todos los que se encuentran por aquí leyéndome en esta hermosa noche, para quienes aun no me conozcan pues me presento, yo soy Manuel y les quiero dar la bienvenida una vez más a mi blog de arte. En esta oportunidad quise realizar una ilustración enfocada en la temática de los guerreros de fantasía, pero al mismo tiempo quise involucrar un poco la magia en mi dibujo, y fue por ello que quise crear o inventarme este personaje a la cual quise llamar por el nombre de (Nazariah), la cual es una joven pero ferviente luchadora experta en el combate con espada, dagas y todo tipo de armas filosas, y a la cual le fue confiada la ubicación de una poderosa y mística espada, la cual se encontraba oculta en las catacumbas de un antiguo templo abandonado desde hace cientos de años; se dice que esta espada además de su poderoso y peligroso filo también guarda en su interior una misteriosa energía magia que solo la persona elegida podrá liberar:* ### PROCESS / PROCESO  Well, I got down to work and started building my sketch, first creating a pose for (Nazariah) in which she was raising both arms forward while pulling the mysterious sword from its sheath. Once I finished the sketch and line art, I was able to focus on finding the right colors to bring my illustration to life. For the skin, I wanted to start with a base of pink and red tones, trying to sculpt the basic shape of her face, such as her eyelids, nose, cheekbones, fingers, and other visible areas. Then, using red tones and the airbrush, I tried to create a little warmth in the middle of the face by subtly blending and mixing the shadows and highlights. >*Bueno, me puse manos a la obra y comencé a construir mi boceto primero creando una pose para (Nazariah) en la cual estuviese alzando ambos brazos hacia el frente mientras saca la misteriosa espada de su funda. Una ver finalice con el boceto y el line art pude céntrame en buscar los colores adecuados para darle vida a mi ilustración, en el caso de la piel quise empezar con una base de tonos rosados y rojos tratando de esculpir bien la forma básica de su rostro como los parpados, la nariz, pómulos, dedos y demás zonas visibles; luego con tonos rojos y el aerógrafo propuse crear un poco de calidez en la zona media del rostro difuminando y mezclando sutilmente con las sombras y luces.*    For the eyes, I used a slightly browner color palette, but mixed in some orange and red tones and a little white for the highlights. Then, for Nazariah's mouth, I wanted to use slightly darker tones such as chocolate browns and a little purple for the highlights and the division between the upper and lower lips. For the hair, I used mostly orange tones. My idea was for Nazariah to have thick, slightly wavy hair, so I used my 3-point brush to texture the strands, as well as the eyebrows, and finally added highlights to the crown and bangs. >*Para el trabajo de los ojos usé una paleta de colores un poco más marrón, pero mezclando levemente con algunos tonos naranjas, rojos y un poco de blanco para los brillos; luego para la boca de (Nazariah), quise usar tonos un poco mas oscuros como marrones chocolatosos y un poco de purpura para los brillos altos y la división del labio superior e inferior. Para el cabello use tonos naranjas en su mayoría, mi idea era que (Nazariah), tuviese una cabellera abundante y un poco ondulada, en este caso use mi pincel de 3 puntas para texturizar los mechones, así como también las cejas, y ya por último agregué brillos altos en la zona de la coronilla y el flequillo.*    For the clothing, I wanted to use more brown tones to create a kind of medieval-style long-sleeved fabric blouse. Here, I decided to use only the watercolor brush to achieve a slightly more specific texture with folds. As a complement to the clothing, I added details such as leather bracelets on the arms and forearms to give it a style more reminiscent of a video game character. For the painting of the sword, I started with a base of blue tones to shape the blade. Here, I focused on giving the weapon a lot of shine to make it look as realistic as possible. Then, to give the weapon its essence or magical energy, I came up with the idea of creating a kind of thunder or lightning effect emerging from the metal blade and illuminating everything around it. >*En el caso de la vestimenta quise usar tonos mas marrones para crear una especie de blusa de tela como medieval de mangas largas, aquí me propuse usar solamente el pincel de acuarela para conseguir una textura un poco mas especifica conciertos pliegues; como complemento a la ropa agregué detalles como brazaletes de cuero en los brazos y antebrazos que le dieran un estilo un poco más como de personaje video juego. Para el trabajo de pintado de la espada empecé con una base de tonos azules para darle forma a la hoja de la espada, aquí me centré en darles muchos brillos al arma para que se viese lo mas realista posible; después para darle la esencia o energía mágica al arma se me ocurrió crear una especie de efecto de truenos o rayos emergiendo de la hoja de metal e iluminado todo a su alrededor.*     ### MATERIALS / MATERIALES - Sai Paint Tool Program - Huion inspiroy h610 v2 tablet >- *Programa Paint Tool Sai* >- *Tableta Huion inspiroy h610 v2*  Well, guys and gals, that's all for tonight.
