A few days ago, I visited the Flor de Venezuela Cultural Center, more commonly known as Flor de Venezuela (Flower of Venezuela), once again. As I have described in previous posts, it is one of the city's biggest tourist attractions and is located very close to the apartment where I live. That day, access to the interior of the building was restricted because they were setting up everything for an exhibition that they plan to open this weekend. However, from the entrance steps, I could see the shadow of the flag on one of the 16 pivoting canvas petals that form part of the structure, which in the afternoon and evening opens up to resemble a flower, in this case an orchid, the national flower of Venezuela. As I have described before, I usually make use of the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed, in order to improve or highlight some element of my images.

Hace unos pocos días atrás, estuve visitando una vez más el Centro Cultural Flor de Venezuela, más comúnmente conocido como Flor de Venezuela, y tal como he descrito en posts anteriores, se trata de uno de los mayores atractivos turísticos de la ciudad, y cual está ubicado muy cerca del apartamento donde vivo. Ese día, el ingreso al interior de la edificación se encontraba restringido porque estaban instalando todo lo concerniente a una exposición que tienen planeado inaugurar este fin de semana, sin embargo, desde las escalinatas de acceso, pude observar la sombra de la bandera sobre uno de los 16 pétalos pivotantes de lona que forman parte de la estructura, y que en horas de la tarde y de la noche, se abre para asemejarse a una flor, en este caso a una orquídea, la flor nacional de Venezuela. Como he descrito anteriormente, usualmente hago uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed, con el objetivo de mejorar o destacar algún elemento de mis imágenes.
